Default Updates

I had some time to wash the car today and snap some pics of old stuff that I had on the car, so I thought I'd catch up with some updates on what I've been doing with my family-mobile....

1. Did the fog light mod and disabled DRLs.

2. Installed K&N Typhoon intake and posted sound clips.

3. Hardwired Valentine1 radar detector with hidden display:

Cosmetic stuff and accessories: ceramic tint, Autospeed dead pedal, VW Touareg cigarette lighter flashlight, Impreza trunk net, front Husky Liners, and various stickers like this one:

This is not really a mod, but I bought an AutoTaser years ago. It's an electrified steering wheel lock. But these are pics of it on the STI:

When I first bought it Taser International said it was 50-state legal because there was the warning sticker, the audible warning of the siren, and the visible warning of the electrical arcs. Someone would have to have severe mental problems if they still touched it after that. But then they discontinued it . There are additional pics from my Sequoia along with video clips here: AutoTaser in action.

Some things I have on the way are a set of new Weds from Japan and a carbon fiber roof vane.

Default New Pictures, Old Camera

While I've been waiting for the new wheels to arrive I've been snapping some more pictures so that I'll have plenty of "before" shots . (I think my camera is beginning to die so these may be the last ones taken with it.)

Rally Armor mud flaps installed in this picture:

Port Mann Bridge in the background:

One of my favorites, now, taken in downtown Vancouver...

that last pic is golden! You look to be getting the purple haze on the highlights of the photo though, are you using a cheap UV filter?

What Weds did you get? I'm looking at getting some...but still debating on which set.

Thanks. The camera I'm using pretty old (for digital), sometimes takes really lousy shots (for colour), and intermittently refuses to start up. As soon as it dies, I'll probably buy a D50.

My requirements for new wheels were that they had to be 17" and equal to or lighter than the BBSs so it was hard finding ones that would fit properly. I went through a few different choices before I ordered a set of Weds TC105N from Gruppe-S:
