I admit I have a problem knowing how to convert files from RAW and I end up making a picture worse when I try to "fix" it. But that particular picture was one of the ones that I did not play around with

. Could it be the conversion program that I'm using? Maybe I should try a different program? (I don't have Photoshop--too complicated for me.)

I know one thing I forgot to do when I took the shot was adjust the circular polarizer to cut down on the reflections on the side of the car.

It might be with the program..but nothing else seems to have that big of a bump in Saturation?

Try shooting without the CPL?

Nope! But the next day I drove through a snow pile and smashed the lip--I didn't even know it got broke until after I got to work and saw it hanging in pieces

It was a used fiberglass one that I bought locally for cheap. I've ordered a new polyurethane one from FastWRX

That "COLD STI" picture is awesome! You tinkered with that "HDR" effect ? There's a tread somewhere around here about HDR, you shoudl post this pic in it.

I was approached a couple of weeks ago to include one of my pictures in a full page ad for Subaru of America. It's part of a collage of other pictures they found on Flickr.

It was published in the USA Today on April 25 and 30, 2008.

Mine is the b/w picture with the tracks in the snow. Here's the original picture:
