Another option is to buy some budget flaps at Autozone and use the Rallyarmors as templates. I did this so I could run 'stealth' flaps in the summer when I don't feel the need for the mondo rally-look flaps.

I'm far too lazy to swap flaps in addition to my wheels

Good idea though

great job Stargazer!

We had been getting similar requests from customers with lowered vehicles who prefer our Classic flaps, so in response we have released a raised version of the flaps as well (announcement here) this version incorporates what you have done, although not as pronounced.

Thanks! That's awesome that you're releasing a new version because I think there's a demand for it.

Since my RCE springs already dropped me 1" in the front, I decided to go the extra .25" to be on the safe side. My rear drop wasn't as much of course, but I was too lazy to re-do the math in my head .

Default FastWRX replica V-Limited Lip installed soon....

Bought from a local owner. He's selling some stuff so he can autocross in the stock class. So his lip:

...will be on my car soon .

Can't decide to go for the replica STI badge or not, though....

Well, H-E-double-hockey-sticks must have frozen over because I am now a Sirius Satellite subscriber. I used to be absolutely against paying for radio when I could get it for free, but now I'm a total convert--I love it!

I got a really good deal because the radio basically cost $25 ($50 after the mail-in-rebate and the store gave away a $25 gas card with each radio purchase) and Sirius was offering free activation.

My wife bought me another car kit for Father's Day so that I could swap it back and forth between our vehicles. It's going to come in handy on our road trip to DC this summer .

I know that I'll get better reception if I mount the antenna outside, but I'm too lazy . Right now it's on the dash next to the passenger side A-pillar and it seems to come in pretty well. Interestingly enough, when I was fishing the antenna under the dash I got reception there, too. I just couldn't find a spot to put it without removing any panels.

Thanks. I'm a lot more impressed with Sirius than I thought I would be. The sound in the STI through the built-in FM transmitter is pretty good (better than in my other vehicle)--no static at all. I chose Sirius over XM because of the programming (CBC and hockey games ) and there's a lot of different music to choose from. Also, I get to hear what all the hub-bub about Howard Stern is all about .

One annoyance though, is the amount of commercials on the news/talk channels. There's no commercials with the music, that's good, but it seems like they over-compensate on the other channels. I tuned into CNN Headline news and it seemed like all I got was commercials .

Over all, I think sat radio is great. FM seems so boring compared to it now .

Looking at the first pages. I gotta say, those diamond plated floor mats, would like riced out on any other car lol, but it fits the STI just right.

I just got that same unit for our other vehicle. (STi got an '07 headunit put in it with the Sirius module.)

I think the problem is they are just re-broacasting programming that has built-in commercial breaks, so they have to fill the gaps with something anyway. The really annoying part is they only seem to have, like, two commercials.
