Keep 'em in a box like all my other stock crap... I could build a car with all my OE stuff

I'm not big on selling my OE parts. At some point, I will part the car out, and return it to stock. IF that doesn't happen THEN I'll sell the OE stuff.

Good idea...and I've done the same... though I should just sell all that crap because I'm pretty sure this car is with me for at least 4-5 more years.

AND, notice the damn dent is still there

I tried to get an estimate from a paintless dent guy, but he said it was too deep.

Welp, Mr. Flatthump and I did my brakelines on Friday night. Amidst the hurricane-like downpour, crazy El Salvadorian maintenance guy, Budweisers, and missing banjo-bolt, we managed to change all four pads to new Ferodos and replace the OE lines with Goodridge SS lines, but because of the missing banjo-bolt we couldn't get the 4th one. I got an email into Goodridge to get a replacement. Hopefully that won't be too much of a headache to get my hands on.

Also, it seems as though I've developed a clunk'ish type noise up on the front right corner. I'm not sure what it is, but it seems as though it's the spring not seated . I've been so busy moving I haven't had any time to look, but I will try to get to it tomorrow night .

i had a spring not properly seated on my WRX so i know the sound if you can describe what it is and when it happens.

Hmm... It isn't very loud, and only happens when hitting a small bump, or small hole. It only happens at low speed (less than ~25mph). It's on the deeper side of a 'pop'.

first thing i'd check is torque on your top nut of the strut.

an unseated spring happens when turning the wheel (usually).

Why not try and pop it out from the inside. It may not fix it perfectly, but it might reduce the depth.

I was thinking about that the other day. Especially knowing that the STI has very little insulation (shiit that's in the way) so it should be somewhat easy. And honestly, what do I have to lose? The panel needs to be replaced no matter what.

Yeah, I seriously doubt there is more than a piece of plastic bag material between the door card and the paint.
