same thing happened to me man, the rear of the car is pretty strong.
i got nailed probably around the same speed and all the damage was just a cracked bumper..when i replaced it, there was no damage to anything behind it.

There is a box where you can copy html code just to the right of the videos.

Is this the IWSTI Technical Support Thread?

Technically? No.

If the dealership doesn't sell the right rear diff oil, can you get it online? Or maybe from another dealership? Or even like an Audi or Saab dealer (what kind of rear diff oil do their AWD cars use)?

The dealer not selling the rear diff fluid is a great reason why they can not deny coverage for not using it.

Not to mention that would be illegal.

I called another dealer, and they are happy to sell it to me... So, the first dealer blows (South Coast Subaru), but I already knew this. It is just convient. They are ~2 miles up the road.

Unfortunately dealer number two, the one WITH the dif fluid, does not have the trans plug washers, so I have to go to the punk ass dealer number one still...

I had trouble getting the stuff from the dealer too. They were trying to sell me the wrong oil

They said it was the right stuff...

Report that **** to SOA. Or a local media outlet. If they're putting the wrong oil in rear diffs, which leads to failure, SOA may be liable to replace said diffs. I smell class action lawsuit.

If you haven't cleaned your cabin airfilter, I suggest you do it tomorrow... They recommend 7,500 miles, or every 1 year. FYI.

This is after 32,500 miles :

Holy filth on the cabin air filter! I changed mine for the 2nd time around 41k last weekend, and it was a mess too. I finally just broke down and bought a 16x30 or so house filter and cut that to fit. A little thinner, but it works...and wasn't the ridiculous price of the Subaru filter.

Each time I've changed I've marveled at the ridiculous price they charge because "you have to remove the dash". Yikes!
