You can bed them in on the freeway. Just get off at a reasonably straight exit and do the braking there....with a Semi truck behind you

Is that like Indians grabbing Indian food, or Italians grabbing Italian food, or lackskill grabbing Canadian food?

My review while riding PASSENGER in a Prodrive/Bistein equipped car BEFORE I purchased and installed the springs/struts:

I forget the exact designation, but supposedly just below the Sport Cups. 245/40/18s. The wheels were Prodrive GC-010E, dark grey (If I was going to get wheels, these are the ones.) The offset was 2mm wider than stock (I am not good with offsets, but this is what he said). I believe 52 or 50. The owner's name is Andy. The car was beautiful. Best 06 I have ever seen (it's the white 06ftw in the RB thread with Prodrive stickers).

I immediately felt the difference when I sat in Andy's car, and drove through the parking lot. I no longer felt the tiny cracks in the asphalt lot.

We pulled out of the lot onto the road. This road I tried to pay close attention to when I was in my car while I was on my way to meet Andy. I noticed that even though it was new asphalt (less than five years old) the road had my car undulating up and down over minor/hidden bumps/dips. Andy's car eliminated 80% of that effect. They were still felt, but they weren't sharp. If I wasn't strictly focused on comparing Andy's car on that road to my car, I may not have felt them while I was in Andy's car.

We headed for the freeway. Now, don't forget I JUST met Andy. So knowing his driving skills beforehand would be impossible. That said, we got onto a sweeping and banked on-ramp. I got worried . I thought for sure we were going to under-steer ourselves right of the edge of the on-ramp. The car took the sweeper quicker than I thought it would with a tiny bit of tire squeal at the very limit (could be the Michelins). I honestly didn't feel much body roll as I almost flew across the car out of my seat (stock USDM seats).

Now, we were on the freeway. All concrete. If you didn't know, concrete pavement has saw-cuts perpendicular to the length of the road every X amount of feet to handle the expansion/contraction of the concrete. Anyway, this is what I feel daily. These 'bumps' are very sharp in my car. If they are bad, the car will continue bouncing after the bump is long and gone. Andy's car felt the 'bumps', but they were not sharp and the car did not continue bouncing.

He then proceeded to say that the steering response of the car was incredible. As we were doing ~65mph, and he finished that same statement, he yanks the steering wheel to the left/right/left/right. I flew out of my seat again. The car stayed planted, no tire squeal, and not much body roll felt. The ride was finished with another banked off-ramp. Same effect.

I would have to say that the suspension feels a lot softer when the car is introduced to the bumps we all know and hate. At the same time, It feels firmer the way it handles the bumps. It just feels like what it should be doing. Taking a bump, absorbing it, and it's behind. With my car, it is not that way. It takes a couple seconds to recover by undulating. Instead of the feel of skipping across the bumps in my car, you feel the suspension working to absorb, and recover as quick as it can in Andy's car; it is doing it's job. It does infact feel more refined.
A few days later:

Prodrive/Bilstein struts and springs have been installed.

Big thanks to Dan, Andy, and Eddie over at Prodrive. They know their stuff. It's going to be hard on my wallet knowing Prodrive is so close to me

Preliminary pics with ONLY 10 MILES driven on the suspension:

I haven't had enough seat time, but the car is better. No doubt. Handling is greatly improved.

From the little time I've spent driving since the install, I can tell that the car does not skip over minor imperfections in the road. It sticks.

I'll have a better review after I move into my new house this weekend.

Well, they are the main distributor of North/South America... I'm sure they have just about everything that is mainstream.

What are your plans with the stock springs/struts?
