good to know its fixed. Why the hell would someone want to scratch the roof vane spoiler?? Man, some people these days are crazy.

If your roof vane does get stolen, just look fora grey 04/05 with a roof vane and beat their ass

Default "..I rumble the earth with the lowered suspension..."

After waiting about a month for my GF210s to come in to CVR Motorsports from Japan I had the chance to get them installed today.

I gotta tell you, I love these springs. Gave me just the drop I was looking for and the car seems to ride smoother and corner flatter. To try them out I took a 35mph turn at 80mph on a "closed course" after the install. Oh it sticks! I got more of a feel for that AWD "harder on the throttle=more turn in goodness" Next on the list.. Chargespeed CF Lip

Again I apologize for the pics. I suck with a camera.. couldnt tell you why

Genius at work I tell ya.. How many family members does it take to reassemble a strut?

After a few beers and some wrenching.. we came to this

Stock for comparison

Thanks.. Im getting there..
My dad and I figured it out with a little bit of ingenuity since we didnt have an open ended socket wrench. The guy with his back to the camera is my brother in law. He doesnt know much about cars and was just there to watch. I then scared the crap out of him in the test drive after. It was fun!

1st problem its my parents camera
2nd I zoomed in with the camera from the same location to take the close up pics of each tire
3rd I just suck with a camera in general! ...I can ski, hurdle and remix music quite well, but cant take pictures.
Oh and the work done on the car.. Im anal about that stuff. I worked hard for the car and I take care of it. The last strut we did was the passenger side front.. why do you ask?

^^^^ Sorry, I was just trying to be funny. I guess I won't quit my day job.

What I had meant in asking about which strut you did last and mentioning the reduced quality of pictures with the beer you guys had been drinking. I was trying to state a correlation between them.

Now that you finished with your spring install, I'd suggest getting a good alignment. Mine was way off after my install...

Oh I got the joke about the pictures.. but not the last strut.. its been a long day! I plan to get an alignment around friday. I was told to let them "settle" a bit before going through with it!

Default Lil bit of an adventure!!

couple weekends ago we decided to go out for a bit of an adventure with the nice weather.. just some random shots of what we came across on the way..

Freshly washed and waxed before we left

These were actually funny because while we were taking the pics the dealer started walking over to us and said he had the keys if we wanted to check it out. I said to the GF "quick, get back in the car" after we were done making fun of the Caliber and sped out of the lot before he could get with in 20ft of us!

Shes Mine!!!

Letchworth St. Park

Some hole in the ground..

Our own 300 horses and 1 Jack Ass pictures.. just happened to come across them..

Who is Teh fast4r?!

Near SUNY Geneseo...that's a college for all you out of state folks

I got a little bored while hanging out at my parents house waiting for dinner so I decided to go for a little cruise. After about a 1/2 tank of fun hehe I decided to climb up a local hill here and have some fun on a dirt road. I slowed down to a stop and tried launching 3 times as I actually launched at a light before without trying.. I figured now might be a good time to learn!

1st try-wound it up to about 4000 rpm slipped the clutch a little too much and I could smell it burning a little bit.

2nd try-pumped the gas a bit to keep it between 4500-5000 and brought the clutch up "like I just stepped in dog poo" and hit the gas. I bogged a bit and took off. I realized I didnt give it enough gas.

3rd try-and I think I knew what was gonna happen because my heart was pounding...I pumped the gas between 4500-5000, "Dog pooed" the clutch again and floored it this time.. OMG holy mother of crap!!! All 4 tires broke loose and I got a little sideways in the dirt and then it took off.

I cant imagine how this would throw you into your seat on the pavement...but I understand why we own just about everything on the road from a dig!

That's why I never "launch" my car. It's just too abusive. When I want to get going from a stop with some Gusto I just do a quick slip at low rpms and once my foot is off the clutch pedal and the clutch is 100% hooked up then I floor it. This method is enough to get away from all the "normal" cars out there with no problem and there's no extra wear on the car in anyway. With all the car's I've owned I've realized that if you want a car that's good for stoplight launches STI's & M3's aren't it. Launching these cars is just too abusive. The best cars for this job are cars like the C6 Vette & hooked up Mustangs. These cars can do 0 - 60 runs all day long and not even notice. I'm not critizing you in away, please don't take me the wrong way, but I'm just sharing my point of view on this topic.
