Just a quick word. I am selling my Chargespeed Type 2 replica lip and going for a V-Limited replica with the underlip. Just looking for something a little simpler. Here is a quick PC of what I am after. Not a major change, but I like it. This wont happen until spring as the lip and rims are off for the winter.

The "old" summer look.

The "new" summer look.. picture stolen from JZeezSTi's journal and slightly modified as he has the V-limited lip that I am after.

Some plans for the wheels as well. Also picking up some new lugs

Another quick update: I have been having a rattle for a while in the front for about a month now that has been driving me crazy. I checked my endlinks and nothing. Checked the up pipe heat shield, nope.

So finally I got under the car today for a couple of hours. I got the car on ramps and started playing around. I pushed up on the sway bar and creeeeeeek clunk. Bingo! I thought it was the endlink on the passenger side so I took it off and made sure there was nothing wrong with the endlink. I greased it up with never seize and put it back on the car. Still had the same sound. I then though maybe the bushing needed greased for the sway. Started to take the bushing off and as soon as i touched the nut near the back end, I could already turn it with my fingers. I held the bushing still with my hand when I pushed on the sway.. no sound!

Finally I cranked down the nut and bolt for the bushing. Took it for a ride and no sound at all! Beautiful silence..

In all my searches for the rattle I noticed that my brake pads were getting low a few weeks ago. Order a set of Hawk HPS pads from CVR motorsports for $139 shipped. Got them all installed today. Car feels great and I am happy it is once again quiet!

Now I just have to fix the effing dent in my fender and I will be happy until spring!

I know. I really need to get to a meet. Was going to do the Canadaigua lake cruise in the fall, but had to bail last minute. Hopefully this spring/summer when I get all my parts in and a tune!

Took these a couple of minutes ago after some parking lot drifting

These tires are freaking badass in any type of snow or slop. Not so good in the dry, but I love them in the yucky stuff!

Just got a call from the body shop. I get to pick my the Suby today!

But this means I have to give my my 3500lb, 4 speed, 200hp Pontiac G6 GT... oh darn..

Edit: got the car back. It is beautiful and clean. As soon as I got it I felt like I was closer to the road and car itself. The G6 just felt numb in comparison. It is a great feeling to feel so connected to everything. I missed my suby!

Been a while since I have had a real post. Here is a preview of some things to come. Started a couple projects to be completed over the next couple of months. A slightly different look and more power mods to come!

Used APS CAI.

Repainted with fresh hardware.

Thanks! Yes the CAI does look a lot better. Also got the lip painted and ready to be put on next weekend for a road trip.

The rest of the parts are on order and wont go on until my tune later this spring.

Got my tax return today and ordered lots of parts! They wont be installed until after my vacation. Most likely sometime next month, but stay posted for a tune some numbers this spring

And while we wait, test fit of the new V-Limited Replica. Will be repainted and fit with the DIY underlip

Update: Lip is painted with the hard DIY Underlip installed.

Update 4/24/08: All installed, cleaned and waxed.
