Thanks guys...I am beat after this weekend. I will def give a detailed writeup on the roof vent and the crew at Fizz. The cost was $450 plus $150 for the install. The guy who did it has done about 7 or 8 so far..and he takes his time. So no worries, just sit back and relax and check out all the sweet parts in the showroom. The front bumper is toast I know, but there will def be a new bumper coming in a couple of months...just need to pay for track day, etc. Plus some other major exterior mods will swing on by....so you just sit tight, cause its really going to make my car look a bit aggressive.

Joe, you are all set for next week....or should I say this week. Tuesday sound good?

So heres the write up for the Subaru Spec-C Roof Vent:

First off, Fizz Autosports did a A+ job on taking care of the install and me. They were there when they said they will be, even got me breakfest while I waited, and was free for bs'ing about anything and parts. The guys that did the install were great too. They took their time prepping and cutting the hole. The entire roof was covered in painters tape, plus some plastic bag. Then cardboard was placed ontop of the roof so that anything that was layed down on it (the dremel, etc) would not damage the roof. They also placed a bag under the inside of the roof, so anything that fell, got collected. They took their time so the dremel wouldn't overheat and that the cuts were perfect. To Rob and his crew a Fizz Autosports, you guys did a great job, and I can not thank you enough.

Ok heres the juicy detailed info. The Spec-C roof vent is f'ing awesome. I am sorry, but it is worth every damn penny, and I beleive every STi should of came with these lil suckers. With the windows up and the vent open, it throws moderate amounts of air into the cabin. The air isn't bad, so you can be on the phone at the same time with the windows up and the vent open. Air comes in and blows right over the 2 cupholders and center bucket console thing.

With the windows down (the more you open them) air really gets in there and its nice. On a nice evening or my usual midnight runs on the parkway leaving my friend's house, its sweet. It gets sooooo nice inside with the vent and the windows open, you def don't need the A/C. The sound of the air coming in is def LOUD....radio (the stocker) has to be in the mid 20's to hear what the hell is playing. With the windows closed and the vent open, not so much. Its really really nice to lean to the right and stick your head right under where the air blows in through the roof vent. Feels really good.

Apperance wise: It really makes the car look even better and somewhat more aggressive (the look I am going for). You can park the car with the vent open, and once you get in, its not that much of a blazing heat compared to with just the windows closed and no vent. I actually closed the roof vent, but I was def going below the 80km per hour rating they say.

This is def worth it, if you have the money, or don't, get it! Afraid to cut your roof, go to Fizz Autosports in NY, and have them take care of the whole thing for you. I watched them do it through the windows, and wasn't scared or afarid of them messing up. They def know how to it, and do it right!!!!!!!!!!

Car looks good. Love the Roof Vent, a very nice touch. Man NJ roads sure did a number on that bumper.

Edit: BTW Nice write up on the roof vent. It definetly will convince a few people to get it installed.

Yah that front bumper, I honestly don't even care about it...sooo its alright, a new one is in the works of replacing it.

Yah that roof vent is soooooooo nice. Plus I love how "rare" it is compared to the other STi's out there.
