It may not be if its catted or not, but how close the tip of the exhaust sits in correspondence to the bumper, thats what basically melts the bumper. Thanks for all the comments!

Yah, true, but eventually I will get a different rear bumper, and I think with the exhaust being lower it will fit better with the aftermarket bumper, looking to get the Ings +1 kit loool, yah I know dreaming!

good point, but im assuming that I hangs it the same height as the stocker, would the new exhaust cause the bumper to melt? and does catted/ not catted make a diff?

Yah thats another thing I noticed with the stock hangers, its very wobbley. I was just worried of it being too close to the bumper, better safer than sorry. How did you like the vids Joe?

the vids are awsome. Very awsome sounding exhaust. Does it fireball when u rev high? it loooks like it flames when u rev high in one of the vids. Im confused about my tbe now...not sure what to get between an invidia and a cobb. i tend to feel that the cobb is not as loud...which is what im sort of looking for. what did u figure out when researching?

No flames that I know of. I researched and found that the type of exhaust I was looking for was between the HKS Ti-Carbon Fiber, Invidia G200, Invidia N1, and prob some others. The HKS was to raspy for me. The N1 was too high pitched for my taste, but it didn't look appealing to me. The G200 was just right, it had the look, the angle, and the blue tip that sold me. The sound on this car is music to my ears! I hardly have the radio on anymore! Its just really deep and sounds awesome. My friend loves it too, but is on the downside of the "grenade launcher" look of it. I think with an aftermarket rear bumper it will look more at home. If you want something thats slightly louder than stock, and has a stock look, go ahead and get the Cobb. I think it tapers to 2.5'' right? I know that the G200 seems to be a full 3" all the way, thats another reason why I got it. Which vid showed the flames? Hmm I have to check that out lool.

yeah the cobb is a 2.5. Seb recommended it to me as well. especially since im most probably sticking to the stock bumper. bigger tip might not look as hot. im also sold on the cobb because im sure it will be very compatible with the ap.

check out this vid...towards the end of it...u rev it up slighly high and i here some pops and what looks like small flames...it could just be the fumes though

Chris I will have to say that the hks carbon ti and g200 sounds almost exactly alike IMO, and jorge seems to agree too...

And you will have flames teh second you put on a DP...

The reason why my hks is "raspy" is because of the DP...

Ahhh, thats why it was raspy Czr, cause of the DP...I now see where I got that from...thanks....I think no catted can get flames easier than catted....

Hmm, after looking at the vid, it does look like flames, but is more likely the fumes loool, I think....hahaha
