Yah I was thinking of an H6 build...but I think thats out of my league, since this build will be sponsered by me....I have no idea how I could even get sponsered....if I did, man that would help me out big time, and let me go even crazier. I wish I could go with the H6, but thats just out of my budget. The wheels are gunmetal. Thanks!

Don't let the haters get you down bro, your doing a very good job with the build.

Most importantly you are researching everything with a fine tooth comb before turning a wrench, that's the smart mans approach.

you know, racer, you can research everything to the n'th degree and no matter how hard you work and plan, in the end, you are still at the mercy of manufacturers' quality control and business practices, your wrench's schedule and things and events you just cannot anticipate. the more complicated the project is, the more variables beyond your control there are. you either keep at it out of pride and because you love it or you end up getting punked by circumstances. don't even get me started about having all of that taking place in the public view where you'll have posers and assorted losers announce with absolute conviction that you should have got a cosworth.

if youre going to be stoopit you better be tough.

Nothing really to update....

Just waiting for the Custom SZ55 from Deadbolt to come to my house! Their phone lines are down, so its a bit harder to get in contact with them. Can't wait to see what it will look like!

So far, after researching and looking up other setups and results, this is whats on my list to buy for my tune that will prob happen in July or August:

-PE 850cc Injectors
-APS DR 725 FMIC (Black with the APS Logo on the front)
-APS Headers (Jet Hot Coated along with the Up-pipe, and heat shielded)
-APS Fuel Rail System (Don't like how the rubber Fuel line is snug under the intake manifold)
-APS 70mm CAI
-Tial BOV (Red) 11 Psi Spring?
-Tial 44mm Wastegate (Red) 8 Psi or 10 Psi Spring?
-JDM TGV's (ported)
-Blitz SBC-ID3 Boost Controller
-SUN Cyber Speed Voltage System (JDM Bling)
-SUN Hyper Force Ignition System (JDM Bling)
-Koyo Radiator (Not needed before tune)
-Cusco Engine/Tranny Mounts (Not needed before tune)

I think thats about it really, other than a tune for Meth and w/o Meth. I will prob buy NGK 1-Step colder plugs again (to make sure its all fresh for the tune). Now, I just need to get AWESOME pricing on these things, and start to order some.....that will begin by this week or begining of next week.

Yah tell me about it....we got a 3% raise for the new year...but I get a big jump this July...so that should fill in the holes in my wallet when its all paid off! Two big things that will be difficult is going to be the Headers and FMIC. The others, well, I buy parts like that all the time at those costs....nothing new to me.

The speeches in the last 2-3 pages,...man...really...moved me...sniffle, sniffle.

I kid, I kid. ;p

I'm sorry for whatever happened to you Bruce and your ride. I haven't gone through your journal. After going through Chris's, I don't know if I'm ready for another big journal!

Chris, do this: Buy everything you want for your setup and have Ian and yourself install it and save $mucho$ dinero$ on laber costs. DO IT! B/C I SAID SO!

LMAO! I can't believe people on here have the audacity(SAT word there) to tell other people what to do with their cars!

Enough of that, it's in the past. I can't wait for your car to be done dude. So then I can come back to your journal and see you traded it in and got a Hybrid!! LOL

Keep it up bud.

Have you looked into those oil cooler kits that sit right behind the grille? Might be something interesting to look at. I think Al runs one.
