Well on Sept 2nd, I went to the Pocono Raceway to track my car. Lucky me....it was raining all over the place, keeping the track nice a wet....damn it! So being that it was raining and I had AWD...why not track it anyways! There was a replica shelby cobra roadster with no roof running on the track, couple of vettes, a Cobalt SS BMWS, and others. I had a great time, learned the track, did a lot better with taking the lines, heel/toe, and braking. Ran on the North Course portion of the track. It was nice to have the car in the garage area, to stay out of the rain. There were a bunch of Miata's running real nice, when I was manning Station 2 (turn right after the straight away), a Miata hydroplaned the front tries and then the rears and slid the front half of the car on the right side of the track on the grass, facing me. Aussie Steve and Mark were like OMG LOOOOK LOOOK, and it ZOOMED ZOOMED by on the grass. Luckly he didn't damage anything, and just got mud and grass on his car! No mishaps for me, and Steve (MacSTi) being it was his first time, did really well. It really helped him show what the car could do, and how to drive the track events. Hopefully Steve has some pics that I can post up, I know he has the vids!

I didn't say OMG LOOK, I was telling you to get the damn yellow flags out so no one would come screaming around the corner and hit him... remember me yelling in your ear, yellow flag, yellow flag!!

Wish I had jeans and a helmet, I would of instructed had I known they'd be looking for them.

Not really, this is the normal when a track event is run by a car club renting the track. When it is a bigger event such as SCDA there is flag people etc, but the day also costs twice as much.
