^Contact Danny at EDO Performance, tell him I sent you and he will hook you up! I believe he only has 1 more or 2 more sets.

Billy - I will be going with the Okada Projects Plasma Spark, which are basically spark plug boots designed and developed to work as secondary ignition amplifier. They are simple bolt on parts too.

Here is some of the info off that site:

The Plasma Direct is the ignition coil with a high power amplifier built in to it.
The Plasma Directs produce 4 times more spark energy than stock coils and also generate an ultra fast multi spark discharge of 10 sparks up to highest RPM.
The spark amperage is increased 100%, allowing the spark to reach many more molecules and therefore accelerate the ignition and combustion process. This is extremely important in forced induction applications but also improves the performance of normally aspirated engines.

The Plasma Direct will increase horsepower and torque throughout the entire rpm range. This upgrade will also reduce fuel consumption. Even the engines with a legendary smoothness will be further refined with the Plasma Direct upgrade. Our Plasma Directs are OBD II compliant and C.A.R.B. approved.

Installation is easy. Direct bolt-in to the engine, no splicing or cutting into stock wiring, simply replace the stock coils with our Plasma Direct Coils and ready to go!

・100% secondary current (Spark Amperage) increase
・4 Times Spark Energy Increase for the initial spark discharge
・Easy installation. Only replace stock coils to Plasma Direct.
・Compatible with all OEM components
・Compatible with OBD-II (On-Board-Diagnostics)

I have upgraded my entire ignition system on my 1986 Camaro. When I got my STi I figured they would have somethings for ignition, never really found anything until Okada Projects. It basically up's the spark, and from what I read "fine tunes" the spark delievery for smoother, stronger ignition sequences. I figured it couldn't hurt, and def will improve throttle response and ignition. Their graphs really show a nice difference between stock and their system.

i have these on my car (coil pack and the boots)--they really do smooth things out especially with a 1 step colder plug(which really isn't needed with these) because they make a more powerful complete burn

it is also has a red light that shows it firing on the coil--real underhood jdm bling yo

nice car and good luck with the build

^Thanks!!! Really, a red light that blinks when firing, thats Uber JDM! I am going to get a new set of 1-step colder spark plugs when I get my tune. Its good to hear you really felt a difference. How were the revs? Faster? Did you honestly feel any real power increase? Were you tuned with these, or its safe to use these without a tune?

it is safe to put these in without a tune but a tune would get the max out of them -- like with everything--but totally safe without a tune on a car--and personally i wasn't able to feel a difference because i had a bunch of stuff done at the same time these when it but it just slightly makes your curve smoother because there aren't jump/peaks when the spark hits-the spark is always there--complete burn is the key here for this product-- sorry for the crappy explaination but it works--trust me--what they supply in the coils as far as graphs and stuff is believable

there was also a comparison done in sport compact or import tuner or some other mag--i can't remember which one--but they were proven to give i think like 10 hp or so and dramatically smooth out the curve

Chris, where did you get your rear spats?
Japanparts isn't getting back to me with a quote, it seems. Any other outlets, pray tell?
(I expressed Alex my shift boot, e-brake boot, and armrest, he's coverinng them in black stitch/black leather. Good lookin' out, that's some killer work Alex does!)
Imo the gold foil will look good, if modestly applied.

jmanrex - Thanks, yah that sounds about to par from what I researched....I can't wait!!

Billy - He is def right, just read up on it and it will clarify everything he talked about.

STiXXX - Contact Danny at EDO Performance. He may be able to get them for your car, even already painted. No problem on Alex, he does amazing work, and the best part is, you don't have to do anything but put it back in, no gluing nothing!!! The gold foil will only be on the intercooler piping and the CAI, thats about it.

Thanks, yah I mean no one really needs them, but they are really solid stuff, and I believe all the info they say about these. I figured with all the fuel and boost I will start to run, it would be a smart idea to upgrade the ignition system.

exactly, once you track and put stress on the car and demand a lot out of it, it should help.
old school muscle car guys always rebuilt the ignition systems.

A couple things are happening!!!

I talked with Jerry, and I am going to be ordering a Thermotec Turbo Blanket he offers for my SZ55. This way my SZ55 is wrapped with a nice turbo blanket, and ontop of that, I have my Cobb heatshield covering that keeping all the heat inside! Also, I got in contact with my buddy William who does the custom carbon fiber wrapping. He is going to wrap my B & C Pillars along with the seatbelt covers that goes with them, and do my Speedo cover. Later in the fall, I will have him do my Spec-C roof vent, doorcard window switches, dome light, and vent rings. That should complete the carbon fiber on the inside. Next week I should be ordering either the DW 850cc injectors or the Okada Projects Plasma Spark Boots. I still have to measure out my APS FMIC piping & my APS 70mm CAI to see how much gold foil film I need to wrap them.
