rather than getting a cheesy overlay, and waiting forever, if you want a true, high quality carbon roof, the AMS is the only game in town. We've been using them on Evo's since they came out in 06 and they are absolutely fantastic. Not only do they fit, they are made in the US, doesn't take months and months to get, and save you weight, rather than add!

Update:

Talked to Gruppe-S yesterday, Kyong was very helpful. They basically wanted me to ship the item back via their own packaging label, only problem is I don't have the package anymore. I suggested to have Seibon send me a new CF Vortex Generator for the roof to me, and then once I inspect it, and test fit to make sure its all kosher, I would return send the old one that I currently have with their pre-paid packaging label. Kyong agreed to this and I told them I would call them back Wednesday if I didn't hear back on a status. So hopefully this will be taken care of fairly quickly considering all the crap I have gone through so far. They are handling it pretty well so far, we shall see!!!

hopefully they handle it well, my friend had to go through lots of bs to send his cwII hood scoop back to them after not fitting an oem cf hood...this was for the bugeye.

as for the cf roof, i only want to do it for looks and i don't think the cf roof is worth it.
but who knows, i may never end up doing it, i would like to know how much it weighs though.
plus it's got a cutout for spec c vent!

Update on the WRX:

Test drove it today, wow is it faster than I thought. I believe its def faster than my Camaro. Handles better than I thought as well. Brakes/Rotors may need to be replaced eventually, and the tires are in good condition, one is brand new. Those are prob the only things it will need, maybe alignment, but prob not. The pick up is quick, and very quiet . Def not used to that! Suspension is tighter than I thought it would be which is a plus! The one most awesome thing about the car, its the seats! WOW do they hold you down more than any USDM STi seat would. They are so comfortable and hold you around the corners, its def the biggest plus. On the downside, she needs a GOOOOOOD cleaning, so I am going to give her the works! The interior isn't bad, but its a project I will work on this weekend'ish. Wash/Claybar/Wash/Light Compound/Swirl Remover/Polish/Wax. Interior will get a good beating, I got a crap load of chemicals to use on the carpets/seats. I will def post up pics of before (current condition), then pics later on of the finish! So excited!!!!

Update for the WRX:

Went to Allstate and got the insurance done on the WRX. Tomorrow I am picking up the title, going to DMV to transfer ownership into my name, getting the plates/tags/etc, then going back and picking her up. After work I will take pics and post, then work on the interior, and drive her to V-17 for Fridays meet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soooooo excited!
