Did you get the optional dingo balls with the suede headliner?

Seriously though, why would you use RT615's as your dedicated track tire? Why not use a RACE tire (ie - V710's or of the like)?

Al, you know once you see it, you will be jealous. Its just that I hate the stupid grey color of the headliner, when the bottom half is black. Plus, after working in the car, and doing stuff with the headliner, you can see even the smallest amounts of dirt that was caught from working on it. So I was like eff it, might as well since the cage is down, and the spec-c roof vent needed the headliner out.

As far as the track tires, yah I may opt for the other ones, didn't research yet at all, but I am looking for a tire that can be used in the dry weather, and rain (incase it rains on a track day). Getting slicks would be crazy, cause it would be pointless to run those when it rains. I am no Baller to have a set of track tires, plus rain tires! Any suggestions oh mighty Al?

I will leave the Dingo Balls for Bill's car....it suites him the best!!!

Yes, I probably will indeed be jelous....I just like breakin your ballz!

You are a baller, don't try to deny it.

My suggestion is to buy the V700's I have in my shed for $150- (235/40-17), then you will have the Slicks & not really spend too much $$. If it rains, just use your street tires.

^Thanks Al, I may later, but no time soon, still have plenty of meat on the stockers that I have mounted on my ASA's. But, if you could get a tire for the dry/wet for the track, what would you get? Hey, aren't you going to Italy very soon??? Damn you, when I was there, I loved it!

Going very soon, I cant wait.
I don't think there is any one optimal tire for dry & wet. I think my plan is the best; bring the race tires, if it rains use the 615's....simple.

But yea, if you have plenty of meat on the stockers then I would definitely use them.

Where did you order your tire caddy/bags from?

Thanks Al, that makes sense having some race tires, and then 615's as baskups incase it rains....Maybe one day I will use the race tires on the Work rims, and then 615's on the BBS', and have some nice 18's to roll around normally.

As far as the tire caddy's....I got them from JnJAssociates.biz for $61 shipped! They are located in PA, so you get them pronto! I ordered the wheel felts as well to provide protection against the rim surface when you stack them. Bryan is a great guy, def worth the money. Have fun on your trip!!!

Chris how are you? Car seems to come along. Maybe before spending $$$ on the rest you could have the lip repainted or something.

Also where are you getting the suede from? remember I can get that for you too, I don't know the price. Let me know how uch sq. ft you need...and I can tell you the price for it.

Good luck with all.

Are you gonna sell your vf-39 when you swap in the sz 55?

Seb, whats up brother? Haven't heard from you in ages! Are you coming to Limerock this coming 22nd and 23rd in June??? Alex, Jake, Steve, and I will be there, and Tim too I believe. You should come! The shop got the suede for me, but I didn't know you could get it too? I will eventually need some more to do the sun visors...don't know how much material that is going to be?

Jordan, I will most likely sell the VF-39 when the SZ55 goes in. But I hope it doesn't have those infamous cracks in the exhaust housings like I have seen around. Otherwise I will just keep it on the side.
