Running good, just turned 1K miles with the new motor. Second oil change tomorrow & tuning next wednesday.
Ceasar swapped the headlights last week, it looks sick.

Nice choice on the oil, I run Amsoil 10w30 as well

What's the slip lock do for you? I need to change my tranny/diff oil to the Amsoil as well.

Nice Al, your getting tuned this month or begining of next? Should be sweet when she comes back from the tuner!

Nand- I didn't use that Slip Lock, its for elminating the "Chatter" but I didn't feel comfortable adding that to the rear diff, I just used the Subaru JDM Rear LSD Oil (The blue tin can). As for the Center Diff, I used Amsoil Severe Gear, honestly, the shifting into the gates is a lot smoother than it was before the change.....BTW, this is the second time I changed that tranny fluid, first time with the Amsoil, and honsetly its smoother because of the Amsoil!!!!

Goomba Johnny - Whats up? Never got your call back yesterday. Should be interesting running that Series 2000. I just got 2 BlackStone Lab oil test kits. One is going to be used on the current oil running in the car (Changing it right before Limerock), and the second one is going to be used when I change the oil after Limerock. This way I can see how my car is doing under normal/highway driving conditions, and then how she is doing when she is being pushed hard at the track all day! Its free to get the kit but $22.50 per test.

I'm thinking I'll run it in both diffs... isn't the fluid Subaru uses in the front the same as the rear? (I used to know this )

don't you guys know that the front diff is tied into the tranny?
meaning it uses the tranny fluid.

Yes I know that.

I just wasn't sure if the fluids were the same for the front and rear... I am having old-timer's memory this morning

I know people run the Amsoil Severe Gear in the tranny/front and rear though.

the rear takes 80-90
while the front is suppose to be 75-90

^Yup Amsoil Severe Gear 75w90 for the FRONT Diff and TRANNY. Rear Diff, just use that "JDM" Subaru LSD Oil and call it a day! You will love how the tranny shifts with this Severe Gear, trust me, its much more smoother.

Your explanation sure makes it a possible solution Chris... I may have to give it a shot

They can sit there, they just need a helmet!!! AHHAHA, seats can go back in..I just didn't have time to bolt her in yet. It looks soo evil when I am cruising and you see them through the tint, even worse when the window is rolled down. I believe the color really blends well with the car though.
