Hey Chris, When you send in your registration for the LRP days, I will contact Ian to find out which run group you are in. If you and Alex are not in the same group, if you want, I will work with you too. I like to line up students before the trackday starts. LOL I had a black 85 IROC in high school!

Chris, don't try to steal my instructor! jk
Tim, I think you should be able to help Chris because he is only doing the 2nd day (June 23rd) and I think I am going to be in Intermediate 2 on the 23rd.

Sounds good Tim!!! I would love to have you as my instructor since you have a STi and know how they handle on the track. I will watch the first day and partcipate on the second day. I was in the novice class last year, and Chip (I believe thats his name, the one that runs in the Miata group), said he was going to recommend me into Intermediate. I don't know if they ever went through or not. Let me know what you hear from Ian.

Camaros RULE!...when they don't have rust on them. I am in the process of restoring/mod'ing it. Going to repaint her black and then work on a cage!

Chris I like how you plan your mods and do research on how they work and what needs to be done to install them and so on and so forth. While others just get parts all at once and either crash their car or can't afford it or end up wanting to sell it..you have been around and are still modding heavily, props to you my friend! Great work on getting an extra block too, i would be more down to mod(and get tuned more aggressively) if i had an extra block sitting around!!!

Ideally I would get to work with Jake too, I know there will be a conflict. Chris and Jake, Do you guys remember what line you were driving through turn one? I really like a late turn in and running the cars left wheels around the outside of the concrete and taking the second apex tight. This gives the opportunity to late trail brake and stay on the grippy surface. In class they like to teach taking both apexes tight. Anyway it will be great fun.

yea, i would love to have you back in the car with me. I remember taking that line through big bend. I think the place i needed to most work was braking on the downhill (if i remember correctly).

Hey Tim, anything you can recommend for LimeRock? I have a list going on...just want to see if I missed anything. I searched back in my journal and read that Jake was able to keep up because of his trail braking tech....I think thats something you wanted me to learn since I braked early. You said I carried speed into the apexes well.

Update:

Well heres the scoop, I have the option of picking up an AutoPower Harness Cage, already painted a nice carcoal color with new hardware for a cheaper price than listed brand new + shipping + painting. Thing is, its located in Rochester, NY! ROADTRIP! Hopefully I should be picking that up Friday morning. Then once I get that, I will be ordering some Sparco Harnesses and pads. Rob says that there was a dent/scracth on the top piece of the roof vent......so he ordered a new one, and his guy who does the installs is away until the 18th. By the 18th'ish (afterwards) is when I finally get the roof vent!! Shouldn't be long now!

Also, I have 12 qts of Amsoil 10w30 100% Synthetic (ATM) motor oil coming in, along with what I already have of the Amsoil Severe gear, and an incoming cabin filter, rear JDM LSD oil, and new pvc valve. Also new NGK 1-step colder plugs will be coming with the harnesses! Going to do a maintenance run on the car so she is all ready for Limerock in June.

I know, I know, supporting mods for the SZ55 that is still sleeping on my computer chair in my room. In due time, so far, I am somewhat content with the power, I could def use more! I just want to get the things out of the way for my track day so I can really enjoy it, then get more supporting mods. If the budget allows me, I will order a piece on the list for the SZ55. I plan on getting everything my the end of the summer, maybe fall period. This way the car is tuned in a neutral weather so it will be in the middle of the seasons we have here.

And finally, thanks to Steve, I was able to pick up a Cannon dig video camera for a great price brand new! Pics will follow soon!

now youre talking, chris. how cool is that. i think phil has the autopower in his. the only thing i don't like about it is, the forward support drops in front of the dash blocking ingress and egress a bit...but youre young (insert oneofthoselaughingsmileyfaces here).

sniper's right. an uninstalled turbo, like a gun without ammo, is just a paperweight. you need a fundraiser or a trust fund.(insert anotheroneofthoselaughingsmileyfaces here)

Yah Bruce I know...what I am currently doing:

One credit card is the big one....don't have tooo much that I owe, but as soon as it gets low to a place I like, CLICK FMIC....then APS Headers.

The other credit card is always payed off, along with the rest of my bills every month. This is the one that gets the mods you see most of the time. Once I get the stuff I need for track day in June, this along with the other one will be getting the supporting mods! I have somethings I am selling that if they are bought, will help fund most of my track gear needed for June. Which leaves me to put more money on the big card, and money for other things in life! Soon brother, soon I will have that turbo in...just is pushed back to th end of the summer, or fall. I didn't even factor in my raise that is coming in July....!!
