So I did some work today on the cars.

First the STi:

I got around to installed the CF wrapped C-Pillar, just need some interior tabs and I can do the passenger side C-Pillar, then wrap it up with the B-pillar. Connect my C-pillar brace, and put my seats in and we are done! Pics to come when everything is finally finished.

I am going with the socketless hose setup for the return line. I believe only 5 ft is really needed, gonna double check with Wolfplayer on that, then make the purchase.

I heat wrapped one of the APS I/C piping, and then wrapped the heat wrapping with the gold heat barrier film, here are some pics, enjoy!

Before:

Thermo-tec white heat wrapping with their snap straps. Left room for the silicone hoses, once thats all installed, I will put more gold heat barrier filme to cover the job:

Finally, gold foil heat barrier film ontop of the heat wrapping. BLING!

Finally, got a 2005 USDM STi Cluster for my WRX. Anyone know what you have to do for the further left tab to work with this STi cluster? I already shaved off that lil nub, just don't whatelse there is to it?

^Thats just the half of it!!!! Remember theres another I/C piping AND the CAI!!!!! Its going to really set off the engine bay!!! AND its FUNCTIONAL!

i wonder how well the exhaust wrap and the gold bling will work for cooling..if it works well, that's gonna be pimp

i put an STi cluster in my 04 wrx when i had it, it was a direct fitment..

Billy - The heat wrap and goil foil are truely functional. From all the research, and when I was installing it all, you can def tell it will really work. The heat wrap will act as a barrier to not allow heat soaking, while the gold foil will reflect heat away from the piping. Its going to look really nice in my black engine bay!! If you put an 04 STi cluster in your WRX, then it should be a direct fitment and that would be the same for my case. Since I got the 2005 STi cluster, you have to modify one plug and cut 2 wires. Then modify a few things on the inside for the R. Diff Temp light and the ABS light.

Steve - FASTAR.........I don't think so!! BRING IT!

Dave - Sweet, you just doing a full exhaust (w/ header & up-pipe) and the rest of the mods with a tune and thats it?! No turbo, injectors, meth, or anything!!! AHHA. Should be a blast to drive around!!

yeah check my journal.. i have my maddads header/uppipe sitting here.. just order my fuel pump, DW 650cc injectors, prodive boost solenoid, and NGK one step colder spark plugs..
