yes for the WRX, if you haven't seen the JDM one piece grill you haven't lived. it's the ****.

I had one on my Bugeye, i've tried to post them here but you can never see them, is photobucket just blocked for you?

i could host it on one of my servers that probably isn't blocked.

and for a daily/winter car i'd avoid coilovers like the plague. No reason to. spend the $1000 on quality struts and springs.

Heres the APS 70mm CAI wrapped with Copper Heat wrapping and the Gold Reflective Heat Barrier Film. It came out really really nice. This setup is def way better than nothing at all, you can tell by holding it, this setup will def keep all the air nice and cool! I will be doing the same method on the FMIC piping. Here are the pics, enjoy!

After being wrapped with the heat wrapping and the gold heat barrier film:

Can almost see the APS logo ahha:

Drew - I priced out struts and springs and its like close to a set of BC coilovers, kinda close. I was like well, for the price wouldn't the coilovers be a lil better? Prodrive springs are expensive from my research, sometimes hard to get. I was thinking if I do go struts and springs, I would get the adjustable ones vs the regs from KYB.

better how?

more hassle? stiffer ride? more maintenance? have to remove them to get them replaced in a year or so.

a set of KYB AGX's and Prodrive springs the car will perform very well in all seasons and not need any real maintenance and they should last much longer than the BC's ever will.

ignore the price for a minute and look at what you need the WRX for.

Thanks guys....gotta get my flange welded onto the APS piping and weld in the meth nozzle as well.

Drew - Any good sites for the Prodrive springs? So just struts, shocks, springs. No need for top hats or anything? No need for camber plates.....

why weld the meth nozzle in? that's not a good idea in case you want to change something/sell.

Going to have a mount for it welded in, not the fitting itself.

Well it seems to be the word that the APS FMIC's are all Stainless Steal piping. Bad news is that my TiAL 50mm BOV that I ordered from Adam from Z1 Performance came with an aluminum flange instead of the stainless steal one. I am going to call up Adam today to see if we can fix this so I can get my flange welded on this week. More to come later on.
