Thanks for the information Chris. I will keep that in mind once I do get an 07 STi or an Evo 9 (Sorry STi's)

DemOn - Yah the current rear lip is the Chargespeed Version 1. I have plans after my turbo upgrade and supporting mods to replace it with the Ings+1 rear bumper.

Here are some pics of the high quality Crucial Racing Copper Gaskets I ordered!!! Dp, both exhaust manifold gaskets, and both up-pipe gaskets!!

Flow - Sounds good, the STi or the Evo 9 are def good choices. I would go with the Evo 9 more than the 10, but with an aftermarket bodykit on the 10, it looks better than the 9 ahha.

jmanrex - Thanks, I still have to finish up painting the seatbelt brackets, and everything should be good to go. Its been hetic lately with work and all, so after my vacation I should be able to get them done quickly and all installed!

those gaskets suck, i was using them.
they seemed cool and all but did not seal that well and blew apart at the slightest leak.

i went to remflex and they pwn..i hope you don't get leaks!! lol

Billy - Really? Are you sure? The Remflex honestly blow since they are graphite and squish. Steve's blew out and they are garbage! I heard of a company that used to sell them and now doesn't. I am sure these will be great, they are better than OEM....maybe it was a bad batch?

tic stopped selling them
mine blew out also, but i still like the fact they squish and fill the gaps better..once everything is tight, they're golden...you can't reuse them, just as you won't be able to reuse the copper ones.

but idk, maybe i just had bad luck with them

I think maybe you didn't tighten them down enough? I am going to look into this though. I wouldn't touch the remflex, after seeing Steve's set, no way!!

hey bro...I know I know...long time no see.

I have those crucial racing copper gaskets....best thing since sliced bread imo. They sealed exhaust leaks that no oem gaskets could. They really come in handy with all of these aftermarket goodies we have on our cars that don't always fit as well as promised. As long as you tighten everything down to spec, you should be good to go. I have re-used the exhaust manifold gaskets 3 times with no problems whatsoever.

Anyway, good to see things going well, and you're still doing it the right way the first time...a role-model to many on this site. keep it up.

-Ryan

John - Did you send my message to Crucial on that site to see what the TQ specs were?

JPW - Yah, with Kiwi Ian doing the install with me....I won't have any problems, he knows how to get it done correct first time around .

Ryan - WTF, back from the DEAD!! How have you been??? Whats new with the car? Thanks bro, I know, its expensive, but I must do it correct the first time, saves money in the end!!!
