Alright, I got an idea a couple of weeks ago. Actually saw it on BM_STi's journal, and just remembered about it. They make this:

"The Gold Reflective Film is an aerospace material capable of reflecting 78% of all radiant heat with continuous operating temperatures of 450 degrees centigrade. The material is metalized polyamide polymer laminated glass cloth with a high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive. The film is lightweight at only 5oz per square yard, and is easy to apply and remove. Typical applications include; but are not limited to, engine covers, side pods, suspension, under trays/floors, seat bottoms, fire walls and bulkheads. The minimum air gap to heat source is just 1mm."

I was thinking of using that to wrap my APS 70mm CAI and all the intercooler piping on my APS DR-725 FMIC. Now remember that all the APS parts are in the crinkle red coating. I know the gold foil is def going to have a big advantage vs nothing, but what about the looks as well, think that would look great in my engine bay? I just wanted to get some views! Thanks.

Your ride would definitely *bling* more.

If it'll help, do it!

Oh and I can't wait to get my parts out to Alex. He's doing my wheel, shift boot and e-brake boot. And since I'm the first 08 and it's going to take like a month, he's even providing a core for me to use so I don't have any downtime. Awesome guy and can't wait to see his work first hand!

Vroom293 - Yah, what are you getting done exactly? I got the arm rest done, basically took it off and sent that in. Alex in return put a nice padding on it, then wrapped it up with the matching stiching running down the sides. As far as the e-brake boot, just take it off the car, and send in the entire e-brake boot with the plastic surriound, Alex will take care of the rest. Same goes for the shift boot. Once Alex is done, he will ship them back to you, and you just put them back on as if they came like a kit, no glue is required! Thats the best part.
YOU JUST MADE MY NIGHT GUYS !...Im loosing change [quarters dimes etc...where my ebrake boot should be.
i lost a set of forceps as i was trying to get change out] got it all out via under seat /under carpet thru factory made inserts.forceps didnt get far.almost lost my credit card.
I just need a hand brake boot!
I have the ripped factory boot separated from the molding and will prepare to send both by this tuesday.wonderfull! and once again thanks.BTW can it be a tie die color ?
hahaha cmon just fooling!

Now that i see your console top ....me want!

Thanks guys!!

Billy - Yah I am going to need all the help I can freaking get! I was thinking of doing this first:

-Have my Meth Nozzle installed on the intercooler piping.
-Have my TiAL BOV installed on the intercooler piping.
-Wrap all intercooler piping with the gold film foil.
-Remove my bumper and drop it off at the painter.
-While its there, have him install the Ings+1 CF Canards.
-Install my APS DR-725 FMIC.
-Install my Blitz SBC-ID 3 Boost Controller.
-Wrap my APS 70mm CAI.
-Install my APS 70mm CAI.
-Install my Samco Ancillary Hoses.
-Drive up to the painter and have my bumper cut to fit the FMIC and install the bumper back on.

Prob will do all of this at my house to save my car from driving around without a tune. I figured this would help get a good chunk out of the way.....I know Mac323 can help, JDMDave maybe as well, Billy you should come on by as well...the more the better! Think with all of us here, we should get that stuff installed, no? The Meth Nozzle and TiAL BOV will be installed on the intercooler piping before we have this lil install day.

Thanks guys!!! Yah its going to be a FUN project...I just want all the parts installed already...its crazy go nuts in my room with all the parts against the wall!

twp4ever - Thanks, yah its the ChargeSpeed Ver1 rear lip on the stock STi bumper.

UPDATE!!

Just ordered up a crap load of T-Bolt clamps for my APS DR-725 FMIC. Props to WolfPlayer for the parts list and place to get them. They are MUCH better than the standard clamps they use, plus I will use the Hair Spray trick when mounting up the tubing to the intercooler pipes.

^I don't know about that......I know that the ChargeSpeed fits '04-05 STi's....didn't find anything about the 2006 STi. Although, Ings+1 does make a rear bumper for your car, may want to check that out. Otherwise, you could go for JDM Rear Spats with the APR CF Diffusor........
