Update on the STi!!

Just sold my Cobb Accessport Ver 1 to a friend of mine at work. I will be ordering up the Cobb AP within a few days! I figured why not since the Ver 2 has more gizmos and its only like $200'ish more for the upgrade from what I got from this sale.

Update on the WRX!!

Just purchase an Eclipse AVN 5435 touch screen NAVI/DVD/MP3/CD/Sirrius tuner. It comes with everything, plus I drive it everyday, so the Navi is a def PLUS! My g/f now gets to play with it while we take road trips and can even watch DVD movies while I drive. Nice comfort feature to add!

DVD while you drive is definitely a plus.... its saved me from a few long drives at night.... i still need to hook up my Ipod interface to my Kenwood now that i think about it.... also maybe thinkin about gettin a nav unit like the tomtom or garmin units... gizmos are fun and im about to order another AP soon.... if they have the AP V2 w/ 1.04 software at the local dealership i'll just buy it there

Thanks! Yah it was def worth the money, the AP was just redone by Cobb with a new screen, cable, and everything. I installed it on my friend's car, went for a drive with him, and he was soooo thrilled with the car. He was like, this is how the STi should have been from the start.

Nice vid find! That vid looks like it was made on a low budget ahhahaha. That song def expresses my car's soul. The song I like more is by Spiderbait - Black Betty.

Update for the STi:

I was able to snag an awesome deal on a Cobb AP Version 2. Basically only cost me $150 to upgrade from my Version 1 to the Version 2!!! Should be nice to see a colored screen for once, and be able to read more things than the Version 1 did. Also, I read that TiC stated that there is more room on the maps for tuning than the Version 1 had to offer, good for me since I will be installing that SZ55. Next thing on the list is prob going to be the Okada Plasma Coil Packs or the DW 850cc Injectors.

I've owned Garmins and Tom Toms.
Get the tom tom XL,it's a superior unit,it reads your position A++, so no passing a road that a Garmin would show as 50 yards UP the street as you passed it.
I have a Navigon 7100, top of the line, right now, and I still (way) prefer my first Tom Tom over it, (by far!) even though this one's loaded with Bluetooth, etc. The tom toms are the "ipods" of GPS, they're simply awesome, and the interface and touch screen are superior.

^They are good! Eclipse navi's are really good. My buddy Steve (MacSTi) has one and I love it, directions are dead on, thats why I jumped and bought the Eclipse system for my WRX daily beater.

lol i didnt mean to thread jack but thanks for the answer i dont need the bluetooth or any of the fancy gadgets, just an accurate nav system.... i tihnk my headunit is nav capable but would rather get something like the tom tom since it wouldnt interrupt music or a movie while im motorin around..

Congrats on the upgrade chris.... right now you're protuned for stg 2 right?
