No Derek, I am having Alex make matching E-brake boot, and center console lid cover. He will match this material and thread/stitching for the E-brake boot and center console. And NO, I will not have the ZeroSports Logo made on any of the matching boot/cover. Just the pattern, breathe!!

THIS is a REAL ZeroSPORTS Shift Boot!

I pray you're only copying the pattern and not the Z/S logo as well.....

actually, clap, assuming there is no patent to cover the boot itself, the z/s logo is the only thing that could possibly be protectable under the federal trademark (not copyright) laws.

however, to be protected, there must be some notice to the person who would use their claimed trademark without their expressed permission, which is given with a 'TM' or an ® (in the case it is registered) somewhere in the logo itself. by failing to use a TM or ® on the boot, zero sports has zero protection.

i'm not a lawyer but i do play one on tv.

then you will be pleased to know that i have personally spent a small fortune defending my various copyrights and registered trademarks in federal court. i have an ongoing anti-trust and copyright infringement case which i brought against the state of new york. we are waiting for a decision from the 2nd circuit court of appeals. if i lose the decision there, we are headed straight to the u.s. supreme court. they will be quoting chapman v new york for the next 100 years in copyright and anti-trust actions.

Damm, i finally made it through all 218 pages! She is looking sick chris, mad props. I must say i thought i would get to see the new turbo installed pics/ results when i was reading your journal back in may or so, but i see your finishing strong now. GL with everything really good journal instructive and entertaining.
