for that turbo you will want a much higher spring that 8 or 10 psi.....I'd recommend a 1 bar spring

That is correct. I am running an 18-1/2 lb spring currently.

Thanks Al, would you recommend a different spring rate if you had a second go at it? I annotated my build sheet for the info.

Chris, what uppipe are you going to go with? I am doing a EWG setup too and I can't decide on an uppipe.

If you go with the TiAL 38mm EWG...go with the Element Tuning Up-Pipe. I am going to be getting the APS Headers, and with the APS Up-Pipe, custom weld on the flange for the TiAL 44mm EWG I plan on getting, and custom fab up a dump tube for it. It will just dump the pressure right out the bottom, no replumbing it back into the DP.

I am actually leaning towards the Element Tuning uppipe. It looks like a quality piece. And I think I am going to go with the 38mm. Apparently the 44mm is overkill for a VF39 or 20g setup.
What mods do you plan to have completed before the track days at the end of June?

^ Ummm yah basically the AutoPower Race Cage and Sparco Harnesses.......and maybe new brake pads. No way in having the turbo setup completed and tune by then!!!!!!! Element Tuning Up-pipe with the TiAL 38mm will work out great for your stock turbo (WHY on a stocker?) or the 20G if thats what you plan on using. I am getting the APS Headers, so I might as well custom weld it in with a dump tube on it....... What do you plan to have completed before the track? Ohh maybe an alignment hahaha def need that.
