Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the intercooler piping needs to be modified if you want these two to work with each other.

I think so. Harman can fab some piping up for you if you go that route.

My buddy's car has the Limited Spoiler. He's had it for about 4 weeks now. We were amazed that it took about 2 weeks to show up after it was ordered. Apparently Evergreen Subaru here in Maine was the first dealership to get a Limitd Spoiler as a part without the car in the US. LOL kinda cool. Pics of it are in the photo gallery. He has the blue true fire flames (thread). Very cool Nice lookn car!!!

Default STI Limited Spoiler ON

Quick pic...I'll try to take better ones later.

Weighs a ton less but looks a ton better! Which reminds me, I gotta remember to put that STI emblem on.

Default How to remove the top rear deck and install a 3rd brake light

Since I went wingless (per say), I needed to add a third brake light to operate in accordance with CA law. Luckily I found two people parting out two seperate WRXs; one with the rear deck and another with the 3rd brake light. I had to install these and didn't remember seeing any threads on this and thought this would be useful for the visual oriented-ppl.

You'll only need the following:
  • 10mm socket wrench or hand tool
  • 14mm socket wrench or hand tool
  • pliers
  • phillips screw driver
  • panel popper (recommended, much easier) if not a flathead screwdriver will do

1. Since everyone knows how to remove the seat and back cushion I'll opt to skip that part. On each rear door sill you'll see a push pin on each side; remove them with the panel popper.

2. Two clips will be holding the sill in place; just lift gently and it should come off.

3. To remove the upper sill remove the 2 screws located near the base of the panel and the top of the sill near the seat belt retractor.

4. Use the panel popper again to pry off the seat belt covers from the back in case you scratch the plastic. Remove the bolt behind the cover (14mm).

5. Gently pull on the lower right quadrant of the gray panel and work your way around to pop off a total of 6 push pins.

6. Go to the trunk and use a plier to release 4 gray push pins shown in the first picture below.

7. Get back into the car and undo 3 push pins located in front of the rear deck.

8. Remove the lower middle seat belt bolt (14mm). Lift and turn the rear deck over.

9. Pop out the plastic cap holding in the middle seat belt and feed the seat belt through the hole.

10. After placing the rear deck and 3rd brake light in place just screw in the two 10mm mounting bolts and connect the white harness from the 3rd brake light into the existing blue harness from your STI and you are done.

Hope this walk-through helps. I typed this up fast so PM me if I missed anything.

Thank you for posting, looks SO nice.
I love my STI wing, but have grown tired of the unwanted attention from police, ricers, fanbois, etc. I'm currently going the same route as you- trying to acquire a wingless trunklid and add the Limited spoiler.
