They come with different housings? Shouldn't it be one type of housing for consistency in their product?

How can you tell the difference between the 18G and the 20G housings?

you can tell by the face of the housings because the 18g's are curved & rounded on the face, where the 20g's have a flat section around the circumference of face.

So, it's been about two months since I sent my Perrin headers and UR uppipe to Crucial for coating.

After many emails back and forth with some employee issues from their company slowing things down, company relocating, as well as Jeremy himself moving to a new place I get my stuff back. My car has been down for the whole two months, collecting cobwebs inside and out. Excited from the longly awaited arrival of my parts I open up the box and find that the UR uppipe I sent to Crucial was not the same as the one I received; instead of the 44 mm EWG setup they sent me a 38 mm EWG setup uppipe!

I've left a message for Jeremy to reply but reaching him is no easy task. I'm a patient person when you expect a project to be ~2 weeks and then it turns out to be 2 months...and counting. THAT is where it becomes ridiculous. I understand that things happen. But when "things happen" over and over and over again there is no excuse. Honestly, I can say that I am going crazy with all this waiting.

I picked Crucial for their service as well as referrals from ppl online over many other companies and I've been really, really dissapointed.

Jeremy has sounded sincere every time I do get a hold of him but WTH!

yeah man sorry to hear that. I had to rush Crucial to get my TGV's done on time. I hate being a nag, but sometimes you gotta do it. and to tell u the truth the crucial coating is nothing more than black high temp ceramic powdercoating done by any powdercoating shop. I had i/c piping done and it looks exactly like the crucial coating.

Default APS 70 mm CAI

In the meantime I've installed the APS 70 mm CAI. Finish is nice as with their other products but paired up with their DR725 FMIC, the filter is pretty close to piping coming from the front mount core. Here are some shots of it installed.

Nice pics, surprised to see the filter that close to the piping!

I was surprised too but APS said that is normal. I tried to adjust it but the parts didn't budge.

I'm just finishing up on the top FMIC piping and getting a braided SS line made for the turbo oil feed line. After that I'll probably go back to Harman for some tuning. BTW, getting the turbo seated into the oil line and turbo inlet was a major PITA.

The 70mm CAI from APS is their larger CAI; the main difference is that the 70mm requires tuning.
