Did you end up replacing all of them into t-bolt clamps?

BTW, didn't the aps kit come with a coupler next to the battery?

yeup i replace every single clamp with a t-bolt. worm drive clamps suck. and yes the aps comes with the coupler, but it is really really thin and alot of times ends up being too short to connect the 2 pipes. paypal me like $12 bucks and I can get u the 5" section i have laying around from the original 10" piece i bought for my kit.

Well you asked and I shall tell, here's my story:

Right after I installed the Turbo, supporting mods and DR 725, we hit the dyno. My tuner was tuning the car did a couple pulls then he started to go for real #'s.. After the first 2 pulls I decided to bleed the lizard really quick. Right as I unzip my fly, I hear a loud POP!. I freak out and run to the dyno with my hand covering my junk thinking I have a blown motor , only to find that ***** of a coupler poped off...I nearly shat myself. Don't let the same thing happen to you...

Got my turbo today from Deadbolt but it came IWG instead of EWG as I've ordered. Talked to Jerry at DB and he said that he could send me a bracket to replace the acutuator with or I could get the WG welded shut. Not sure which route I should go with. He said that going with the bracket would be good in case I want to sell the turbo later; then the turbo could be switched back to IWG if need be. But, I'm not sure if there would be any leaks going with the bracket.

Other than that the turbo looks great...the smaller turbo is the stock VF39.

dang these deadbolt turbos are so inconsistant. some sz55's come with 18g compressor housings some come with the 20g comp housings. wierd... good choice on going EWG, i had a hell of a time getting a correct actuator for my IWG. looking good though bro!
