I don't currently have any updated pictures of the car... will take some in the next few days; but here is a photo when I picked it up at the dealership in November 04!

After being stock for some time I purchased the cobb accessport, and was pleased with stage 1's performance and smoothness. But I quickly got the mod bug and was itching to see what stage 2 was all about.
When moving on from stage 1 power levels on the accessport, I did not want to create too much noise to draw attention locally and choose to go stealth routes. In choosing my downpipe I wanted to maintain a cat, while being able to pass up to a certain extent NY emmissions... I choose the Crucial Racing short downpipe:

In choosing this pipe I wanted quality and was willing to pay a premium for it. This pipe was made very well and has ceramic coating in the Outside, as well as the INSIDE. It was an important aspect for me to keep heat down in the engine bay and this was an easy decision to make.More pics of the pipe: <img src = "http://johnmcenery.brinkster.net/Pics/STi/dp1_300r.jpg">

Another shot:

This pipe is the divorce wastgate design and is a short downpipe that retains the stock 2nd midpipe cat.

Pictures are the best I could do with the camera at hand, but clearly in person you can see the "diamond black" coloring, there is no mistake that these would be considered normal BBS RE's in silver. I'll see if i can offer a better shot during the daytime outside.

how long did it take for your wheels to show up? I've been waiting for mine (from japan) for about 10 weeks now and am going mad with anticipation.

awesome dp, too! crucial's dp (w/ceramic coating) is what I would've gotten if I didn't already have the txs piece.

Thats going to look great. Let us know how the Protune goes. Bring us back graphs, numbers and some idea of what a stock car puts down on the dyno you use. Sorry to be so demanding.
