Intake rattle and shifter rattle is covered by me bro. Kiwi Ian and I will get those things checked out and fixed. As for the warm start issue......I will have Ian check the fuel lines to make sure they aren't cinked, and check the injectors to make sure they are seated properly...if not, check the tune I guess.

My APS CAI rattled quite bit as well, I enlarged the opening with a dremel and then cut a hose and put it around the inside opening...did you already do this and you still have the rattle? Mine completley went away after the mod...

The hose appeared to be intact, but something must be off. The rattle is worse then ever, makes the car sound so damn tinny. Ugh! Can't wait to fix it.

On a side note I bought a 137 piece Craftsman mechanic tool set today at sears to use when I get back home!

APS DR525... Installed! I love it. Retune will be this Friday, the 13th...gonna need some luck on that day!

Chris at XXtuning will be taking care of the tune this time around. XX is nice and local to my college, so this couldn't be easier.

The car feels very good with the FMIC, I noticed some the lag between shifts, but I feel it's very easy to compensate with shifting slightly differently.

Hopefully I'll get some pics up soon. Had big help from Chris and Ian... we worked on the install for hours! Used weatherstripping to make the edges look flush and clean, NO gaps! A+ work.

I too am interested to see the results. I'm on the fence right now with what I want to do and your switch should be a perfect example of the pros/cons of each setup.

Definitely will keep you posted on this. Odd enough the car is running better right now then it did before.
