| A.X.D. | i remember seeing somewhere that mobil 1 synth doesn't keep various seals "fat" - that they shrink after using it... not all synth are crappy like mobil though! i am an amsoil fan; their oil is better than mobil or anything else as far as i'm concerned. i have been using it in my engine, tranny, and diffs and have had nothing but great results. look into it. IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | Just an update... the car is still running great. I haven't gotten to drive it much while at school, but the quick runs in the car make it all that worthwhile. I love the power .... and am seriously considering the "Super" 20G upgrade this summer... hmmm.Next up will be some pics of the Defi's which I love in the center pod. First need to get the car cleaned first. Any suggestions of another clock to install? I miss knowing the time, but the Defi's are worth it. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | Debating on the next set of mods guys... This is what I aim to eventually have done. This is over what the NEXT actual mod will be. The list "to do" list is as follows: Cusco sways with kartboy endlinks Syms Replica Wing - paperchasin group buy Possibly painting my stock silvers gold (or trading) Lightwerkz Retrofit (put on wait list) One of these 2: Order the FMIC for summer (I can wait on this) Order a Meth kit for summer (I can wait on this as well) Lastly possibly adding an AEM A/F ratio guage in a subigal pod below the pillar on the left of the steering column. The additional turbo work is not even considered yet, as that is a strictly summer project! |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (30) | You know me.....Function first!! Therefore, go for the sways with the endlnks! Then second would def be the wing or the gold rims. Either would be awesome! One of these 2 questions! Get the FMIC and then the Meth Kit, install them at the same time, and just get tuned once ! Saves you money, but may take some extra months to get accomplished. You could just get the Meth Kit now, instead of the sways or something, then get the FMIC later.....and get a tune when your turbo comes in, and this way get everything installed again and tuned only once! In the meantime save up for the sway and endlinks...and then the wing/Gold rims. How about that?! |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2004 Trader Rating: (13) | My .02 Cents about your wish list: Get the AEM A/F gauge FIRST, this could save your motor. Second get the Meth kit, you will not need the FMIC anymore.....and the car will make A LOT more power.....safely. Sways & links should probably be second......but come summer you will be happier you chose the meth. Just get both. Everything else is fluff...... Quote:

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2005 Trader Rating: (30) | Yah I agree, AEM A/F is a must.....def get that before the sways to make sure everything is kosher! If you don't need to get the FMIC and only plan on keeping the TMIC if you run the meth, then only get Meth and no FMIC. If its your goal to have a FMIC, then do what you want! But like I said, you will save money if you get the FMIC (if thats your plans), Meth kit, and the turbo mod'ed all at once and installed. This way you only tune once . |

We'll see... it's gonna be the APS DR525 with my APS top mount for sale... or it will be a meth kit incorporated onto the APS top mount!
