IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | Well... this thing is just a monster now. It drives like a completely different car. The low end drivability is just excellent, I haven't felt this way about my car since stage 2 protune. What shocks me most is that the power feels like it has increased to the point that it feels like I added a significant part (a larger turbo or meth). Power starts sooner and pulls much harder then prior. I couldn't be happier. Chris |

Thats the same reaction I had adding the fmic, better timing, etc. People don't realize how much those things can transform a 20g setup, so I'm glad to see those awesome results.

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | Well the car is still running great guys. Here's a question. Am I out of my mind to consider opting for a high quality catted downpipe? I constantly feel bad for the odor left in my tail, and have felt more so lately when sitting in traffic and probably having others gag. If only the Cobb unit didn't have a taper... i'd probably just go with it at somepoint this summer. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | Just a small update... I pulled the trigger on ordering an S2K retrofit from Lightwerkz! S2000 Projects, E46 shroud, custom painting and several others tidbits. I'm only debating on adding CCFL rings (Angel eyes) to the project. Last edited by JJ18Sniper; 06-10-2007 at 02:18 PM. |

Nice John, I LOVE my lights from Ceasar. I think the angel eyes are one of the biggest attractions personally, I say do them.

I'm excited for this mod, and it feels like I took long enough before I did this. This postponed the CF driveshaft for a bit now, unless one comes along used at a good price

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (7) | Ok guys small update... I changed a couple of the standard APS FMIC clamps to t-bolts, have a few more to go. In the process I installed the Thermotec cool tube to help block heat from hitting the FMIC piping ![]() I went through a couple boxes and found a static x turbo wrap I ordered about 6 months ago, so that'll be on soon as well. I also found the extra set of TGV's that I have (not my own) that I should sell when I get an chance. I also have an APS Dual Vent BOV that I thought I would need during tuning that arrived too late so it's just sitting around ![]() Upcoming plans... Sways/Links - Debating on whiteline/cusco and other options. Just something good for Daily driving and some fun. CF Driveshaft... always considering, we'll see if I actually pull the trigger by the end of the summer. I put a deposit on the Lightwerkz S2K Retrofit about a week ago, and he's waiting on me to get him the lamps. It'll happen by next week I hope.
