IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | I finally got the Snow Performance Meth kit installed. Looks great. Next time I'm with the car (at another house) I'll get some pics of how we ran the lines/mounted the pump. Now all I have to do is get it tuned...aka make an appointment. IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Aight, just got home awhile ago, dead to the world. I was at the dyno from like 4:45-8:40pm. LOL. Went through 2.5 gallons of Meth and had no major problems. Just a little leak at the water pump which was fixed in 10 secs. (tighened fittings) Dave made like 18 passes and then we went for a road tune. The car runs FLAWLESS! NO knock, IDC's are in the 60's, a/f's are 11.1-11.2 solidly across the map and boost goes from 22 psi-16psi at redline......yes STOCK TURBO . The final product was 394.0 wheel ft lbs and 332.0 whpI almost SHAT when we went for a ride. The pull is freakin retarded. I've never felt it run so smooth part and full throttle. Dave even said it was one of the most smooth tunes he has done and the motor is def. a strong one for the power it makes. He is a SUBARU GOD, seeing him tune the car and others is like magical. He's like straight outta the Matrix it's crazy. This was all done on a DYNOmite dynometer. Well here is my chart.....enjoy! I am. Last edited by Titleist71; 05-16-2006 at 08:54 PM. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Thanks!!! I'm still in shock at the power...I was afraid I babied the motor too much during break-in and made it soft but it turned out to be very strong. I'm glad I just drove it like I would be now. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Well to kinda update I haven't done in a while.....I had the car road tuned today to update things and check for knock. I got my tuner installed and it holds 11.4-11.5 afr solid til redline. I also have my 2-stage turned on and it's awesome. I think I might be making somewhere in the range of 340whp and 400wtq since it has been cleaned up. It's much smoother, spools even faster and goes like a mother. We did some pulls on the turnpike, me versus my friends STi with 426whp 427wtq and I held him until 6th gear and he passed me. I think we started from 40mph in 4th. I was concentrating on the road and the wideband lol. I'm so pleased with the tune Dave made on the car at F1dyno. It takes a great guy to take time out of his schedule to go out on the road and tune the car when you just stop by to say hello. Thanks Dave!! This ad is not endorsed by this member.
