i didnt have a chance to check it yet...but tech at topspeed told me it might me the ring....

Could you give us more info, how many miles were on the engine, were you juicing? I have pretty much the same setup as you do, and thinking whether to build or wait until she pops.

Also, what parts did you go with in the new build?

Engine got about 20K miles on it but i dont know what was wrong with the engine but it keep blowing a lot of smoke on dyno. But when i drive it on the street its ok. NO Juice and just wait until it pop before u build. i rebuild my engine thru Worldone.

- CP .5mm Overbore Piston EJ25
- CP Ring
- Element Tuning Rods
- Cosworth Rod Bearing
- Cosworth Main Bearing
- Cosworth Camshaft
- Cosworth High Performance Valve Sping and Retainer
- Cosworth Oil pump
- APR Head Stud
- Greddy Timing Belt

You should do some mild port work and throw in bigger exhaust valves while the motor is apart

That is exactly what I had in mind with mine.

Before yours popped what vacuum numbers were you seeing when at idle?
