IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (4) | Actually I do have one, but it sucks really bad as I took it with my digital cam. It is the catted DP, so its pretty mild, just what I wanted! I will see if I can post it someplace for you guys. |

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of Cobb's stuff. I had quite a few different cat backs on my WRX, and put them all on myself, and nothing, I mean nothing came even close to the quality and ease of the Cobb. The install was like loosing your virginity..... (everything just fit so so good) Ha, sorry I had to say it. Anyway everything went up perfectly, not hassle no fuss. By the way, if you are doing the install GET THE COBB EXHAUST HANGERS. They made it fit so tight, and perfect. I didn't have to mess with anything no re-adjusting to get something not to hit the diff or anything, no problems at all, just up it went, few bolts, couple hangers and DONE. After I got the stock exhaust off, and started putting on the Cobb I bet it only took me like 20 min tops! If I grab on to my tailpipe and push it back and forth with all my might, it probably only moves like 1/4 of an inch, it is SO solid. Driving it is get, no rattles clunks..Nothing solid. The sound is awesome, very very low, and very mellow....tell you nail it, then hello, not too loud just enough to tell you "uhhhmmm..ok...HOLD ON" Side note on the sound, when I start it in the morning now in my driveway, it rattles the windows in my bedroom. I LOVE the boxer sound, I will never get an equal length header, I couldn't live without that sound. If you are looking for a more pronounced sound then get the catless. I had a Cobb Catted DP on my WRX with a Borla Hush catback, and that was louder than my Cobb TBE is on my STi. Anyway all and all, basically I have decided that if Cobb makes it thats where I am getting it, every time I have called there they have been supper helpful, and there products are second to none as far as I am concerned. I know there are rumors that they outsource some stuff, but if they do they hold whoever is doing the work to a very high standard. Again thanks for the great comments guys, if you like the look so far, wait tell spring. | ||
