So my Tanabe Medalion Touring exhaust arrived for me today...took almost a month and a half for this to arrive from Japan. After opening the box I was impressed with the quality of the exhaust...the tip is freakin huge; it's like a rocket launcher. I cant wait to put this thing on this weekend. I will also install my walbro pump today...thanks to kts262 for that part! Without further ado, here are the pics:

Ok new update. I've installed the exhaust along with a Varis carbon fiber exhaust shield and I'm very pleased with the new exhaust. Absolutely no drone while cruising on the highway, very quiet at idle, not too loud while accelerating, loud at WOT even though I haven't gone full WOT, and it has a deep low tone rumble to it. It is so quiet that when another sti passed by me on the road with a g200, it kinda made me want to get a louder exhaust in my mind but i'm glad i bought this as I dont want that unwanted attention from the law enforcement.

I can feel the power on my car with the larger piping compared to my stock exhaust throughout the band. Boost kicks in earlier for me and i feel more oomph during midrange rpms. I wish I can make a clip of the exhaust but I dont have a video camera...i'll borrow my friend's one day and make one. Here are some pics with the exhaust on the car. It's a little dirty =(

Next new thing on my car is a little jdm goodness from ARC. It's nice and shiny and looks good under the hood. Performance-wise, I can feel a little bit of power coming from this on the butt dyno while accerating from 3,000-5,000 rpm. Sound-wise, this thing makes crazy woooshing noises and it's pretty loud...look at the pretty pictures....

Last thing is that I got my windows tinted...30% all around. I would've gone for 35% but I saw a customer with that tint and it looked like there barely was any tint on it so I chose the next darker tint. Here goes pics...

Looks really good, Archie. Yeah, that exhaust is quiet as #@$# at idle. I may have to consider a new cat-back, now.

I was wondering what you were going with after you hooked me up with your Typhoon. ARC??? Straight up balla!!! THat thing looks amazing. *drool*
It's a panel filter with a box, right?

That tint looks a little dark for 30%.... Almost as dark as 20%. Looks great!

Yeah...i've been diggin the ARC intake and wanted to give it a shot and so far I like it. it's basically a sponge filter that's exposed underneath the box while the inside of the box is empty. The good side of it is that the filter doesn't have any oil so the MAF sensor doesn't get too dirty and it also looks freakin cool...i think i'm gonna have to dress up my engine bay some more to accomodate this thing.

As for the tint, it looks dark but it's really not...people can still see you flick them off with this tint when they do stupid things on the beltway.

car looks good man, that exhaust looks sweet. and stealthy + quiet exhausts FTW!

i had a loud exhaust and while i loved it, i have to admit i like my much more lower profile and quiet APS exhaust not.

I've been asked by a few people for a clip of my exhaust. I don't have a video camera so I just made a short video with my digital camera. The mic on my camera is not very loud but you get the idea.
