that would be no fun.

the plastic deal that is between it and the liner has cracked. hard to see, but annoying nonetheless.

I'm ok with it. People who think it looks bad won't be able to keep up!

amazing, isn't it? the fine scratches on top of one almost (not really) disappoint me, since everything else looks so good.

Well, I finally got my cusco engine mounts in. It was a long, long day of work.

Process was basically: Remove strut tower bar, remover intercooler, remove bottom bolt of pitch stop. Jack car. Drink beer. Remove sway bar to reach bolt for enigne mount. Remove bottom bolt for each engine mount. Jack engine up. Remove 2 top bolts. Remove passenger side mount easily, find that the driver's side is stuck because of my EGT probe. Drink beer. Remove maifold, remove mount. Install plate on new mounts, install onto car. Realize that the new mounts are directional, take them out, rotate plate and re-install. Drink beer. Tighten 2 bolts per mount. Install manifold & re-wrap. Drop engine, install 1 bolts per mount on bottom. Drink beer. Re-attach sway bar. Re-attach pitch mount. Re-install intercooler. Go for a ride.

Together, the cusco engine & tranny mounts definitely let a lot more vibration into the cabin. I feel like I am driving a 60's big block now. It is not really much louder than before, though if I were to get into a stock car I am sure it would be a marked difference.

Overall I am happy. Wish I could have gotten more done yesterday, but oh well. Thanks Renato (i know that is spelled wrong) for the help. I owe you a meal.

BTW- Also added a cusco master cylinder brace to my to-do list.

Yeah- I am keeping my stockers just in case I get tired of these down the road. I love the feel of the tranny mount, and it only adds a bit of noise. I haven't tested the engine mounts too much, but I don't think they will do as much as the tranny mounts, but they add more noise than the t-mounts.

You gotta have a few beers when doing installs. I did, however neglect to mention the 2 spilled bees, so really I only have 3 total, in 6 hours.

Ben - sorry about not making it I had a case of food posioning or something because I could not keep water down. I should have my cobb lever in this week so hopefully we can get another install going in the future and you can install the rest of your stuff and I can get my bushings and lever installed.

No problem. It wasn't all too exciting, but at least there were three subies blocking my place up for a bit.
