so, most of the parts above are on the car.

i just had her aligned and threw in another set of horns, this time the Hella Twin Tone Horns. Much cheaper at $25, compared to my SuperTones.

you'll notice i have not connected the strut tower bar mounts. I need to repaint the mounts before i do so.

i'll get some picts of the stance soon enough. also have to show off the wingless look.

here are some picts of the work:

my engine bay.

A couple weeks ago I hardwired my V1 with remote display and custom mute switch.

Here are a few Picts:

The mount and hardwire.

What I see while seated

Switch installed with stock I/C switch and boost referenced JDM Auto Switch.

I love the switch. Almost looks stock, and easily reached. Need to make a new cover for it though.

I was ambitious this weekend and installed a bunch of stuff that I had been putting off:

Friday:
Stromung Midpipe
COBB Catback
(Sorry no Picts, but you've seen it)

Sunday:
Cusco Tranny Mount
Kartboy Rear Outrigger Bushings
TiC Comfort Klunk Killer

I definitely love the way she sounds now. The COBB CB sounds great, not too loud, but when you get on it she lets you know. I also am very happy with all the bushings. Things feel tighter and the increased NVH is not annoying at all. I like it. When lifting gas in traffic, there is no hesitation anymore.

I have an appointment to be tuned again by Jorge @ P&L this week. I will be putting on the new TMIC for that. Hopefully I'll get a few more HP/TQ numbers. I can already feel a bit more power, but the tune should make it better. Then on Friday I will hopefully put on the engine mounts, H-brace and SS Brake lines.

The sound is deceptive, might make your car feel faster than it is

Amsoil in the box?

Nope- Motul RBF 650 or whatever brake fluid.

Yeah- the sound does add to the butt dyno.

I just got back from my tune with Jorge at P&L Motorsports. He was able to get 303whp/366wtq on 93 out of my car. Even better, on 100 octane he got 323whp/409wtq out of her! Thanks Jorge!

3 Dyno Runs:

Blue Plot: Crucial DP and APS CAI. Cobb AP Protune by Jorge on 93 octane.
Green Plot: eBay TMIC, Crucial DP, Stromung Catted MP, Cobb CB and APS CAI, GM Solenoid. Cobb AP Protune by Jorge on 93 octane.
Red Plot: eBay TMIC, Crucial DP, Stromung Catted MP, Cobb CB and APS CAI, GM Solenoid. Cobb AP Protune by Jorge on 100 octane.

A few picts of my baby on the dyno:

Nice Ben!

Man, that new box they got fabbed up for feeding air to the TMIC is SO much better than the old one:

I bet it helps to simulate more real-world airflow to the TMIC, and probably allows him to tune a bit more aggressively. I know with my setup he was at 290/330 at 18.5 psi, and backed off because it was pulling timing (he said the TMIC was the weak point of the equation). Maybe with proper airflow we could have stayed at 18.5...

What kind of boost did he shoot for with your setup? Nice gains for el cheapo TMIC and catback.
