Default Re: Fullerton's 05FTW AW STi - Q-Rack installed this weekend!

On my morning commute, I did not have to go hand over hand, save two corners. These two were over 90° and were taken at low speeds after a stop sign. I find this a significant improvement over stock.

Now, more than ever, driving my car is an experience. This is not a car "to merely get from point A to point B." My full attention is given to making the car go where I want, how I want, when I want. I love it. It is now "eventually I'd like to get from point A to point B, but right now, I just want to drive."

I must be honest here, This Q-Rack was a great decision. I love driving with it. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

Sounds like a huge improvement. It will be interesting to see how you like it on the track.

I do have a bit of cross-toe. she wants to pull to the left and the turning rate l to r is not symmetrical. I'll get a quicky alignment tue/wed after I soak the bolts in pb blaster.

I kinda want a Q-Rack too but I am scared that it is going to be overkill for a dd. Sometimes I like to put the cc on and drive without worrying about the car swerving back and forth from a tad change of the wheel. Let us know how you like it after the "new mod" effect wears off.

Well, on my way to P&L this afternoon, I stretched my legs a bit on a clear stretch of highway.

I never felt uncontrolled, but you do have to pay 100% attention, but at high speeds you always should.

That is good to hear. Do you think you can make a video showing the effects of the Q-Rack? Maybe take it on the highway and show how little input is needed to change lanes? If not, I understand... JK.

Here are vids from q-racks site: Q-Rack - Quick Steering Rack for 1998 and up Imprezas

this has to be quite possibly the worst designed website i've ever been on. Whoever made the website should give me their rack because they suck.

Ben, throw some of your clout at q-rack and get another GB going.
