No I meant comparing braking distance was more relevant than comparing rotor size.

Audi weighs 300+ more according to your post, that's no small amount

I realize that. I am saying that with the info I have at the moment, that was the best I could do.

I agree the distance is a better measure, but I bet the Audi wins b/c of the bigger rotors.

My major camber up front is not a good thing. I am losing traction up there now when I accelerate hard.

What is the happy medium? 2.5°?

how long did u have to wait for your PDE camber plates? Are they setup so that they gain BOTH castor and camber as they are moved inwards? The Whiteline REDUCE castor while INCREASING NEGATIVE camber and vice versa... not sure if that is the best... if there really any negative to running more castor for a given amount of camber? Assuming the tire doesn't rub the fenderwell trim.

Initially fuller had the plates backwards, where he reduced caster but increased negative camber.

considering the Whitline plates are called Max C i'd assume they are designed to do both.

It depends on your situation, but 1 degree of caster doesn't = the same traction during compression as 1 degree of camber. (did that make sense?) i explained it to fuller somewhere, could've been in the PW thread.

anyway, Caster has it's benefits (look at the ALK, the key thing it does is give you MORE caster), but if you're autox'ing I personally wouldn't sacrifice camber for more caster, but from the looks of it Fuller was able to get plenty of camber and some added caster ~.6 degrees.

Fuller, each hole is worth .2 degrees i believe. (it is explained in those instructions you failed to read)

Actually, it added 1.6° od caster and 1° of camber by having them on correctly. Not bad at all. And as I said, 3.6° is too much IMHO, so I don't see a point in having them in the camber only position since all you'd do is add more.

the caster # i was referring to was the stock caster.

with them backwards you decreased caster from stock.

I really liked -1.7 for the street.

Well, if you are comparing to stock, don't read that much into the plates, as I also have the ALK, which adds caster.

hmm, interesting.

i wonder how much negative camber you gave up for the few points of caster.

But I don't think it matters. What would 4° of camber do for me? 3.6° is already too much.

It was more of a question of curiosity rather then a "you should have 4 degrees negative" question.

so you were able to unbolt the bearing, then unbolt the top hat itself and spin, then reassemble?

Yep. 6 fasteners and a rotation. Couldn't have been easier.
