IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (77) | Always disliked the look of the rear wing, so I got the Seibon CF trunk lid. The quality is good, better than I expected. You need to remove the sti torsion springs because there is way too much pressure, and put som wrx rs springs in so you can get the trunk to pop. Right now I need someone to pull the trunk up while i release the button, hehe. Still debating putting on badges, even though i like the clean look its alittle too CLEAN lol. The springs are the Tanabe GF210 05 specific. It lowers the rear .5 inch and the front 1 inch. Too little for some but i still expect the springs to settle alittle more since its only been 2 days. The roads are terrible here in NJ and even though I like the slammed look, this gets rid of the 4x4 look and the ride is GREATLY improved, and its not harsh at all. Honestly can say it was how the car should have came from the factory. I also found out about the "JDM rear tail lamp look mod" last night, and gave it a shot this morning. Not sure wether I like it or not, either way the orginal look can be brought back within minutes. Let me know what you think, thanks! :disco: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This ad is not endorsed by this member. IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (77) | Thanks, but no clearing headlamps for me, its not worth opening my new headlamps to take out the amber, in fact i dont mind the amber at all. And tint will come as soon as some money comes in. |

And in action? well all i did was swap the inside and outside buld+harness and all wiring to the other side, literally. Then removed the middle bulb from the socket and put the socket back in w/o the bulb. So now when the lights are on, only the circles shine, when the brake is pressed the circle gets brighter and the outter most red lights turn on... took about 40 mins... | |

| Spec C Club | I've got an OBP as well. I happened to see a guy in a silver forester a few days ago with a sick looking tint. He told me it was 20% all the way around, I always thought 20% was way darker then that, but it was a very nice tint. The tint job was excellent, he said he got it up on Rt.1 in Edison...not sure where though. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2005 Trader Rating: (77) | silvsteve, Here is a picture in direct sunlight. (notice the car is VERY dirty and this was before my drop, this is just to give you an idea until I get some better shots. The other pictures in the begining of the thread were taken yesterday, a few days after I got the springs installed, and it was very cloudy. The carbon trunk lid blends in very well when there is no sunlight. Then when the sun comes out its like dayyyyyyyymmm. For the future I plan to get a carbon sti scoop and a front lip in carbon as well. ![]() straightouttajersey, yes i have heard of the place in edison, im probably going to go with 35%, i had 20 on the rsx and it was hard to see at night while turning. Chris05STi, yes i just moved to clifton a few months ago. I go to Ramapo College, its a little buit of a hike now! electronblur, thanks Comments are much appreciated! |
