Default 04 PSM STi. UPDATE-Evo Recaros installed 3-23

Just got a 04 STi for 18,500 due to high miles but car is mint.Doctor owned so was well taken car of.Original owner had window tint, optional Subaru interior trim & all season mats for it.Also original tires only had about 3000 miles on them when removed for some all season tires.

First change was remove POS Kenwood stereo & install the Eclipse. Its a CD5435 with the optional Sirius S.R reciever/ant..What a upgrade over the Kenwood.Eclipse's are so easy to use & makes connecting a I-Pod a snap also.

Next is the JIC full Ti 505 Bullet exhaust. This was ordered from Z1 & should be here early next week. Will post pics & sound clips.Reason for spending this much is I want my car to stand out compared to the other STi's in town that have your usual Apex or Blitz.

Welcome to the club. First Subaru? Whats your car/tuning background? Good luck with it, and use the resources here. There's a lot of info here that can keep you from getting into annoying situations with your car. Enjoy!

Yes first Subaru.Had a MR2 Turbo that had a lot stuck into it but sold that a few years back.Car was fun but a real pain to work on.Plus parts were very exspensive.Anyway my goal is to make it handle a little better & run mid 12's.Looking for a different wing to.

Default Update

Got some new parts for the car.

JIC full Ti exhaust is first up.This exhaust is a work of art.Yes its pricey but worth every penny to me.The fit is flawless & it sounds great.Mine came with a resonator which I am glad it did.Just right tone & with silencer its great for long trips.Took only 20 minutes to install.

Other two items were just for fun.The HKS Circle Earth grounding kit & D1 Limited Edition oil fill cap.

Next up is a Japan made DP of some sort & a V-limited front lip.

Been a while since I have done any kind of update.Done a few things.Painted the interior trim flat black to look like the S202 trim & did the red bulb mod to HVAC.

Next purchase was ARC Ti pulley cover & Project MU brake reservoir cover from E-Auto.Adds to the JDM bling factor.Dont forget about the Tein hood dampers also.

Last week got the STi V-Limited lip & cleared the headlights.Worth the time & money.

Just waiting for my STi pink springs & Tanabe downpipe to go with the AP.

Do you have any sound clips of the exhaust and what was the total price? By the way it looks great on the car.

May be able to get a sound clip Sunday.Cost on the exhaust was a little over 1K.Can find used ones for around 700 sometimes.
