IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Yea the camera is half way decent.. Those pictures were taken with an LG 8100 which I returned bc of piss poor reception and volume. My new moto e815 takes slightly better pictures I think. Yes those are the gold wheels. The dealer did not swap them out for me. SOA told me they could not swap out wheels bc the VIN shows what color wheels should be on a car - which I recently found out is a load of BS. Howver, the gold has definetely grown on me. Im gonna be writing a ver unfriendly letter to SOA ![]() Also once my back is feeling a bit better Ill take some good pictures of the car now that shes back from the body shop - I also have some pictures of the wreck I should post sooner or later. Fun times!@ Thanks, Jeff |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Here are some more photos from my e815 phone of the car and of the minor damage caused by the sucker truck rolling into my car - you can see just how lucky I really was that that thing began to turn... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jeff |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Damage could have been SOOO much worse. Cost the guy 1062 plus 200 for my rental car. All that was replaced was the bumper cover and a tail light. Its hard to see in the pictures but those scrapes were actually fairly deep. Thanks, Jeff PS Im actually amazed at the quality of these pictures off of my camera phone.. |

IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2003 Trader Rating: (0) | uhm a rear bumper cost like 200-300 bucks and a tail light shouldn't cost too much... 1062 sounds pretty high. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | uhm yep you are right. Now add in the brackets, and labor, and wet sanding and polishing. 1062. Not my money so Im not particularly worried. Jeff |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Hey Jeff! I'm coming a little late on the discussion, but what hit you? Looks like a trash truck with some kind of trash sucking kind of attachment. Whoever did the repair did an awesome job. You'd never know. CJ |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2005 Trader Rating: (0) | Chris - lol just noticed your post. It was a sucker truck actually - for sucking sewage. The body work was done by Kens Auto body - who in my opinion did a great job. I do notice that up close theres an area that should really be heated up as the replacement bumper mold sticks out slightly on each side - easier to see in person than to describe. However, what I liked about the shop was that they were very up front, the paint quality is top notch - absolutely no orange peel - and instead of flat out matching the bumper to the rest of the car - they made it match or not match the same way it did from the factory lol. My upper part of my wing is slightly different color than the bottom part, and the sideskirts are slightly as well - the difference between painted plastic and metal. The paint looks identical to how it looked before the accident so Im happy with that. Jeff |
