| Silver Member | or I could have, but I got this last night instead... I'll post better pics in my Gallery when I get over the excitement. Gotta go take all the dealer logos off now, but unfortunately, the big constellation emblem on the trunk will have to stay, there are studs in it that penetrate through the lid This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Silver Member | I drove from Richmond to Springfield (2 hours on I95 in traffic) to find out what kind of financing I could get, and to see the '06 in person, because I still wasn't sure if I would like it... I had no intentions to buy, but once I saw it... started the paperwork immediately!! Got it for invoice, the salesman Peter Faris was awesome, and traded the '95 Grand Am that I drove there. Even had my first run in with an SRT-4!! haha. Stopped in Ladysmith to get some dinner at Subway. While we were eating, I saw a yellow neon w/ adjustable aluminum racing wing cruise by it in the parking lot. So then when we were done eating, we go out to the car and chill for a second while my buddy smokes. SRT-4 comes back from out of nowhere, and backs in about 5 spots down from me. 3 guys and 1 girl, all high school age, climb out. One guy opens the trunk and gets a bike out and starts riding around the parking lot. The kid driving starts wiping the car down with a rag, and yells over to me "are you guys meeting up here?" I said, "nope, just stopped for dinner." He went back to polishing his bumper and we left. |

| Silver Member | oh yeah, also forgot to mention, on the way back we made a short stint on rt. 1 near Lorton. I stopped at a light and a black impreza drove through the intersection. I didn't see it, but my buddy said he saw the girl in the passenger seat pointing frantically at my car, and the guy driving had his whole arm out the window waving to me!! It all kinda happened fast, and it sucks I missed it, but it still feels really good to know other suby drivers are cool like that!! |

| Silver Member | haha, yeah, i left the film on the pedals for a day, but took it off yesterday. But, the pics were taken the day after I got it home, the dealership was about 90 miles away, and I spent all saturday night giving my friends rides in it! I should have taken it straight home and waxed the wheels & calipers... I still only have 200 miles on the car though, I knew the brake dust would be bad, but wow! |
