Do you know how the mud flaps mount? If it mounts with the two holes that are in the bumper then I don't think it would be a problem.

Esemes...What he has is the Genome STi exhaust. It looks like you have the JDM STi performance muffler in stainless steel but your pink lettering isn't there which is odd. Where did you get it from?? My exhaust looks exactly like yours except my STi on the tip is in pink.

Oh and dubya I love the genome. In fact that is what I ordered but I was sent the JDM STi performance muffler instead for some reason. At first I was kind of upset because I just love the genome sound. I can't see the pics yet but it sounds like you have a pretty sweet looking ride already!!

Default Mufflers

The one on DubyaSTi's car looks like a Genome, but it doesn't have the color stamping on the side... or I can't see it in the pictures.

JDM Genome muffler has "STi" in CBR and "Genome" under it in orange.

USDM Genome muffler has "STi" in CBR, but no Genome text. It's identical to the JDM one, and I think it's slightly cheaper, but not by much.

There's another SPT/STi muffler made by Bosal that is commonly confused with both mufflers above. I'm not sure about esemes's, but Stang2STI's explanation sounds correct.

There's also the $1500-1700 titanium STi muffler for those with that kind of money to burn on an axleback.

The Genome is amazing. I have the JDM one, and when it's cold, it sounds stock, but when it's hot, you have a tendency to drive with the windows down to hear it. Perfect sound, IMO... not too loud, not too quiet... but you can drive it so that it can be either extreme.

Getting back on topic, DubyaSTi -- your car looks fantastic! I'm going to pretty much have a virtual twin of your car. LOL Along with the Genome, I have the same rear skirts, am putting on my V-Limited tomorrow, and will be doing Prodrive springs in the near future. JDM fogs and rear diffuser/Cusco bar coming soon, too. Once everything's done, I'll post some pics. I have to also say that a lot of you have great photography skills. Keep up the great work!

Nothing new, just a bunch of scenic shots I took today...

On tap looks-wise will be tinted windows, JDM side markers, and '06 diffuser. New wheels are planned for next spring. I've also been thinking of removing all the STi decals and replacing them with SWRT decals.

No plans to de-wing her...any more. I had actually purchased the wingless trunk, it got to my house and was dented so I sent it back. Had another sent to me and that one was dented as well. After that I gave up. I think I'll stick with the wing.

Thanks. Tint is planned, probably after the holidays. Just not sure how dark I want to go yet.

Nah haven't changed anything else. Don't plan to add anything else performance wise except for a few suspension bits and pieces.

You can get them from your dealer. The official name is STI Performance Muffler. It lists for $695. I got mine used from a dealer and paid less then half of that. The previous owner returned it because he complained it was too loud and it rattled. Sounds perfect to me and doesn't rattle.
