Default Re: FP green STi pwns n00bs - broken fuel line

i was i thought it was greg like wtf?

we still managed to get the tank out with just lowering the diff but it got majorly hung up on it and scratched the bottom of the tank etc.

the only other ridiculous part is you need to lower the tank enough to get your hands and eyes on to see the top of it and look at all the ****ing hoses and ****s that are connected to the frame....gotta undue those.

and the fuel lines are clipped onto the tank, so you can't drop the entire thing without mangling them off which was easy thank god and then you still can't take it down because there are two electrical connectors on the tank where you can't access until it's dropped...so undue the one and the other one is underneath a cover you must unbolt off, which i didn't do yet.

i'm going to swap the tanks tonight and use the new tank.

the #1 cause of this problem is because when we drilled into my frame, we didn't have a "stopper" on the drill bit..so when it went through the frame it just kept going and hit those fuel lines causing a puncture.
i should have put a stopper on it which a normal deep socket works..silly me.

i painted my a/b/c pillars today flat black with that duplicolor vinyl paint.
it came out awesome, i'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

maddad header should be coming soon, had to wait for it to get back from coating.
and i'm still trying to come up with the money for those used recaros
the guy has been holding onto them for me.

ok talk about a big update.
car was in a hit and run basically at my car dealership..smashed my driver side fender and NOTHING else was hurt in the process (hood, bumper, wheel, headlight).
got a new fender going on to be painted and a new rear bumper also from another hit.

I'm still trying to contact carlabs about getting me the strut piece i am missing from my xbrace, i got two of the passenger side ones.
i had maddad header on order for a while now and today they finally told me that they were short some headers from coating so they couldn't fill my backorder and that i would have to wait till end of june/early july for them...so i canceled.

just placed an order for gt spec gen 2 coated from z1.
also bought lots of stuff from rallysport direct.

beatrush propeller shaft mounts
beatrush radiator shroud
beatrush alternator cover
beatrush rear diff support bar
kartboy pitch stop engine mount
kartboy tranny crossmember bushings
kartboy rear diff/crossmember bushings
tic's shifter linkage bushings
whiteline race ALK

i'm trying to eliminate a lot of noises going on in my rear
i have squeeks which i believe are the endlinks since they have grime in them and haven't been cleaned.
i also have a clunking/knocking sound coming from both sides of my car..
i have no idea if it's the strut clunk, it sounds like it's coming from that area and it usually makes this noise while braking and over bumps etc..very annoying.
or something just isn't tight.

Billy.....try to torque the rear axles....Steve's car needed it....we went to like 300+ ft lbs of torque. His were "clicking", and Ian had to jump on the bar and had it clicked about half an inch. No "clicks" anymore!
