I wish, Uncle Sam has me stuck in Altus, OK. I'll be back home in April and hope to have everything finished shortly after I return. Hopefully by the end of April.

I've been here since January learning my new job, as a Loadmaster on C-17s (see my new avatar?). I pretty much have to focus most of my attention on that for the time being. I'm having serious STi withdrawls though, and can't wait to get home and lock myself in the garage! Trust me, as soon as I can I'll be posting pics and info, this thread needs a real bump with some completed projects. Hopefully by May you all won't even recognize it!

I'm back in Dover, everyone! This weekend will be my big shot at getting this IC installed. Anyone that would like to lend a hand is more than welcome at my house for the install. I seriously need to get this car running again!

Almost forgot, check out my for sale thread. My oil cooler will not fit with my intercooler, so one has to go (yeah, its the oil cooler). $300 is the asking price.

The install has started!

It is a surprisingly easy (up to this point) installation. The kit is obviously VERY well made, and obviously took alot of engineering time to complete. Enjoy the pictures everyone. I'll try and finish the project tomorrow, maybe I'll even get to drive the STi this weekend!

Showing how the AC condenser mounts on the new Process West radiator.

Another shot of the condenser installed

the "top" of the radiator and condenser assembly, shows the brackets used to secure the condenser

a side shot of the same assembly

front of the car all trimmed up, there is a decent amount of cutting required to install the V mount

close up of the passenger side, shows the supplied mouldings installed

stock ac condenser and radiator removed, all cutting completed

V-mount radiator assembly in place

lower angle shot

intercooler installed

wow, sweet v-mount. Not very often you see cars with those ICs.

Did you purchase it directly from Process West or thru Mastro?

Damn dude thats just sick! I've had my eye on these for a while and from your pics I can see it is a superior unit. If it were my car though I would probably ditch the stock hood latch.

Thanks man, I'm in love with the quality of the kit.

What do you do out at Travis?

Got it from Bill at Mastro. He's just as excited about this kit as I am. Every time I talked to him recently, its been, "I wanna see pics, I wanna see pics!"

Do you mean you'd cut the rad support across the top? I thought about doing that, but then I realized that the rad support is what holds the IC up top. Don't really want to cut that and have it lose strength.

Yeah dude, I'm BAAAAAAAAAaaaaack! If you want to see it really badly, just come on down to Dover today and help me finish the install!

I'm in the military so I get confused, do you mean 0230 or 2:30 (as in 2:30 PM)?

sweet, I just got back from Altus AFB, they converted me from a C-5 Loadmaster to a C-17 Loadmaster, both of which are jets you've got out there.

My next post will hold the next round of pictures.
