Thanks for the compliments guys. Wheels are next. I am calling Jonathon at Worldone in a few minutes to drop some cash on a set of GC05s in British Black - hopefully they will be here before next year...

Took her to the track tonight and met up with a few other STi/WRX owners. Overall I am pretty pleased with my times - they're a vast improvement from my stock times last year at the same event. I ran consistent 13.0xx's all night long. Kept trying to get into the 12s but my bald ass RE070s and 1.7s 60' time held me back. Had a great time tonight - hope we meet up again soon. I also got an alignment done. -.9 deg on both front right and left, 0 toe, and -.7 deg in the back, also 0 toe. My car was pulling to the left like a ***** before I had this done and boy am I glad!

I'm car 932 -
13.076 @ 103.41

13.082 @ 102.78

13.086 @ 100.69

what cars were you racing against in the first 2 races? 18.688 & 19.274, hondas? haha

The last race looks like it must have been more fun.
Good times!

Good times!

The first race was a new Charger with a Hemi in it... yeah. The second was a Honda CRX with a fart can, and the third was a beefy fox body Mustang... well, at least it sounded beefy - I was shocked that I beat him, let alone by over a half a second.

I took her to the track again this Tuesday and ran some consistent low 13s again. I believe my best for the night was a 13.102 @ 103, 1.7 60'. I can't wait to have some not so bald tires so I can get closer to some 1.6s and maybe break into the 12s. There was a local photagrapher there and he is just the ****. I asked him a few days in advance to try to get in a couple shots of my STi if he could and here is one of them.

I also got most of my gauge setup on Wednesday. I have the EGT gauge, oil pressure gauge, center pod, control unit, and applicable sensors installed right now. I am just waiting on my boost gauge to get here so I can finish it off and tidy things up a bit before I snap some pics.

Finally got my gauges installed. I still lack having my Greddy sandwich adapter installed for the oil pressure sensor, but everything is wired and all, just waiting on the adapter. I love these things... period. The boost gauge responds 100x faster than my factory gauge ever did, they look perfect, fit perfect, and work perfect. HIGHLY recommend these to anyone on the fence about gauges.

I haven't really posted on the forum and specifically my journal for a while. I was in an accident on 6/8/06 and I still don't have my car back yet. I ordered a set of wheels a few months ago and they should be here at the end of the month, so I'm super excited about that. In preparation for those, I bought some tires and lugs. I went with some Falken RT615s in 235/40/18 and boy are they fat.

I also went with Rays Dura-nuts in black. They're extremely light and should compliment my wheels well.

Not a big update this time around(untill I get my wheels in) but this will help me get back in the swing of things. I miss my STi so much...

OMG after over 4 months of waiting, my wheels are finally here!! I'm going to try and get them mounted today at lunch if I can. For now, here's a cell phone pic.
