The quality is amazing, there are ZERO waves in the weave, no bubbles, fitment is spot on... nothing wrong. It probably saved 1-2lbs at most, the stock hood is very light. I just couldn't pass up the deal.

Here are some shots I took at a mini-meet we had here in TN. Made my first trip up to 421, aka the snake or mini dragon. I actually think it is better than 129! Anyhow, couple shots came out pretty nicely.

It was a big mutha - much bigger than I had anticipated!

Installed.

I reset my ECU afterwards and let it idle up to operating temp. I then took it for a leisurely stroll around the countryside to see what it was going to sound like. It wasn't untill last night that I really let it rip and man... does it sound nice. I went to one of my friend's lakehouse in Dandridge, TN, to hang out for a while. Another guy that was there was riding his '97 Honda CBR600 with a Vance & Hines slip on. We had some beer leftover and he wanted to take it home. I offered to take it with me in my car since it would be heavy for him on that bike and we live so close anyways. It's about a 40 mile drive from where I live to Dandridge on the interstate so he and I did some fooling around. At one point we were just getting past some trucks and I gunned it starting in 4th. His bike didn't even catch up untill I hit ~140mph. Wreckless I know, but I really wanted to know what the top end was like with the intake versus stock. I can totally say that it definately has better pull past 5500rpm and doesnt slack off near as much. All in all, even after a full month's wait, it was definately worth it!

Dam man it looks real nice.....im new to this forum just wanted to ask real quick dont have time to search around for the answer.... but does the cold air intake have any problems when it comes to water damage??

i live in miami and in rainy season i cant get any were without gettin wet and in and out of puddles. would it make a big difference to stick with short ram from cobb??

I don't see any issues with the APS CAI. It doesn't extend that far down into the fender. You would have to be in knee-deep water to make this thing suck in water.

The Syms wing? I got mine used for 385 shipped. It was a Paperchasin replica. Very nice car bro, I need a lip but I don't want to destroy it.

The photos I posted recently got the attention of the editors over at TunerZine.com. They ended up doing a feature article on my car which I think is super cool. It can be seen here:

Going Somewhere? - Subaru, Impreza - TunerZine.com - Your Online Automotive Publication

Many thanks to my friend Andy, he's an amazing photographer!
