The TEIN Super Street Coilovers with EDFC went on today. Here are some pics. I'll have some better ones tomorrow probably as the sun was setting when I took these and it's not a great camera.

More info on the coilovers here.

Enjoy

Wow, nice. That looks like quite a drop in ride height. Any before/after numbers?

Also does the Tein/EDFC rig give you ride height adjustment? As much as I like the look of the lowered stance, I live where it snows

Thanks!

I have the numbers written down, I'll have to find the paper I wrote them on. As far as the drop, it's about 1 & 3/4 inches lower than stock.

Looks good, Ben! The +40mm offset on the 2005's really fills out those wheel wells nicely.

What wheels are on the wagon now? Doesn't look like the STi BBS wheels any longer.

The wagon has the SSR GT7's. I'm selling the stock 04 STi BBS silver wheels if anyone is interested.

Hey Ben, where did you purchase the Teins? and do you have a name of the shop that installed them? I'm been looking for a good suspension shop here in LA to do my suspension mods. Thanks

I got the TEIN's through my friend who owns the shop they were installed at. He generally only works on European cars, mostly Porsche's and Ferrari's. I could give you the name of the shop but he probably won't be able to work on your car even if I ask him as he's just been way too busy lately . Every time I have him work on my car he has to cancel other people's appointments .

If you are really interested I could give you the name of the shop via PM. He is very insistent on keeping his name and his shop's name off of the internet.

If you just want the coilovers I can get them for you through him. Send me a PM and we can discuss that further.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

Here's a before & after picture from aproximately the same angle. I'll take some pics tomorrow of the EDFC unit and the struts...I completely forgot to do it today .

As for before and after, I'm still looking for the paper with the numbers, but it dropped about 1 & 3/4 inches. Basically before I could almost fit my whole hand (4 fingers) in the monster truck gap in the front and now it's a 1 finger gap. The rear is about the same or a tiny bit less (1 finger gap), before it was about 2-3 fingers if I remember correctly.

Where did you get those gauges? they match the dash better than the stock ones.
