Now that the weight reduction from the very front (engine bay forward) is basically done, here's the totals:

Braille Battery: 20 lbs
Brake Man Racing Rotors (front pair): 20 lbs
Brake Man Racing Calipers (front pair): 10 lbs
TEIN SS-P Coilovers (front pair): 20 lbs
Dunlop Race Tires (front pair): 6 lbs
Enkein RPF1 Wheels (front pair): 4 lbs
JDM Front Bumper Beam: 18 lbs
AC Piping, Condenser, & Compressor: 22 lbs
Windshield wipers & motor: 9 lbs
Washer bottle & fluid: 5 lbs
Hollowed out headlights: 9 lbs

Total front weight reduction (engine bay forward): 143 lbs

Total weight reduction (entire car): 401 lbs
Aproximate weight: 2,888 lbs
Stock weight: 3,289 lbs.

For a complete list of most of the weight reduction, just go to my photo gallery.

Also, with these latest additions the car finally broke the 400lb net weight mark (after rollcage, etc.) and is now at aproximately 2,888 lbs from the stock weight of 3,289 lbs.
Thats awsome

^^ that is truly amazing

Ben you should tour the country giving fellow members rides in your car.

I can only imagine what that car is like at under 2900lbs

Thanks guys .

If I had the time (or money) to go around the country and give rides I would . I give as many people rides at the track as I can. I mean sheesh, I could lose another easy 25 lbs by removing the passenger seat but I could never do that to people .

Also one other interesting fact:

Of the 401 lbs removed, 53 lbs is unsprung and/or rotating mass:

Brake man rotors (unsprung & rotating): 20 lbs
Dunlop Racing tires (unsprung & rotating): 12 lbs
Enkei RPF1 wheels (unsprung & rotating): 8 lbs
ACPT carbon fiber driveshaft (rotating): 13 lbs

Any plans of a lightweight flywheel to improve spool, make revs even quicker?

When it's time for a new clutch we'll do the lightweight flywheel at the same time. I'd do it now, but it's a waste of labor to just do the flywheel alone.

Anyway, I just put the blank / hollowed out lights in. Looks pretty cool as-is!

They look pretty good for 2 pounds!

P.S. If someone wants to buy my JDM STI lights they're officially for sale . Just sent me a PM.

It helps remove the temptation to drive it on the street . I do it for 5 minutes now and then (maybe once a month) but I shouldn't at all.
